How To Find High PR .Edu and .Gov Dofollow Blogs

⊆ July 3rd, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ 3 Comments »

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. You can also follow me on Twitter. Thanks for visiting!

If you are on mission to build backlinks for your website, try to concentrate in getting more .edu and .gov backlinks. It is simply because .edu and .gov sites have high natural backlinks gives them good page rank. It is hard to find .edu or .gov blogs that gives dofollow juice for commentators. But, if you can find, please don’t spam. You can start searching for dofollow blogs from google by searching:

site:.edu inurl:blog “keyword”

site:.gov inurl:blog “keyword”

If you are targeting for any keyword, find similar or related keyword in your search and try using keyword as commentators name. Write related comment and pray that your comment will get approved. Monitor your site’s SERP ranking in google. I’m sure you will be able to see some difference in few days time.

My sincere advice is not to comment on blog pages that have tons of comments on it with links to some “buy viagra” type of names. Find high PR pages that have lesser number of comments. It is difficult to get quality blog pages but it is worth every effort. It will give more value to your comment link and represents better in SERP ranking with potential increase page rank in next update.

Long Holiday From Blogging

⊆ July 1st, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ 8 Comments »

durian-orchidIt has been weeks I didn’t update the blog. I guess, this is the first time it happens from the day I start blogging at Atniz. It started from my brother’s wedding. I’m really sorry for not updating the blog for a long time now. I got really busy bringing around my brother and his wife showing around the two islands – Langkawi and Penang. They are very happy as now is Durian season (famous local fruit season around May – August). I guess I can write a travel blog with more than 300 posts with pictures describing places I went around these two wonderful islands for last couple of weeks with my family. Everything is settled now.

All of us are back to work now. Thank god their wedding holidays ended. It is so hard to be only sibling in the family. All the work and responsibility falls on our head when our only sibling gets marry, especially when the parents are old or under medical board (My father is under medical board). There are thousands of email in mail box with tons of comments waiting moderation. Pending link building works and more. Time to get all done. June has gone with zero earning from online for me. Hope, July (7th month) will bring me some luck. Let’s see 7 is truly a lucky number.

Healthy Blog Post Title Length

⊆ June 22nd, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ No Comments »

healthy-lengthWhen you write a blog post, what will be the best length for the title? My best answer is 3 – 5 words. A good blog post title always have lesser words instead of 10 words or more. Keywords plays an important role in any blog post or articles. Some SEO experts advice to use important keywords in post title. In this case, how about long tail keyword? Using long tail keyword in title might lead to lengthy title in permalink. This may look spammy for many.

Stuffing all those important keywords in title surely gives a bad impression in permalink view. However, we can always insert one important keyword in title and leave the rest on content section. I come to this conclusion because about 60 – 70% top search results and some keywords searched in google shows 3 – 5 words length title blog post. What is your opinion on healthy length blog post title?

Clean Your Table Often

⊆ June 19th, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ No Comments »

I hate to share my office room picture here as it is truly a mess. I can’t remember when was the last time I have really cleaned it. It took almost a day to just clean file racks and drawers. Thank god I have enough space now after throwing all those unwanted papers and bills. Working at home gives us limited time to clean our home office room. After a long holiday break, when I enter my home office room, I got shocked.

I couldn’t believe I was working in this area of mess for months. I couldn’t even step into my office room until everything got cleaned. I guess, now I really understand of having holiday once in a while helps us see the right thing. It has been almost 14 months before taking such a long holiday. Things are clearer and it gives a comfortable environment when we clean our office room often.

As for this blog, the theme is “Work At Home” and I don’t really see the contents that really helps anyone to work from home. I will create a separate page that shares all the contents scattered here and there to help visitors work from home. Well, how often you clean up your home office table or room?

Nofollow Link Value

⊆ June 16th, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ 7 Comments »

backlinks-nofollow-valueThere are many who is still obsessed about dofollow links especially advertisers and link builders. Is nofollow link have no value at all? Does it not counted as backlink at all? Many looks at nofollow link as junk link with zero level value in it. For those who still believes that nofollow have no value, I suggest you to come out of those Google ring now and look again.

Google introduced rel=”nofollow” tag for us to use on those links that we think it is not so important for google spiders to crawl. Before that, all links are still considered the same. Thanks to google, now we have more spammers hunting for dofollow links only. The moment anyone shared their list of dofollow blogs, it is almost like welcoming spammers with open door.

There are many other search engine like Yahoo, MSN, AOL, etc that still recognizes nofollow links and gives credit to it. Nofollow links may help us to increase SERP ranking in other search engines than Google. Plus, a good SEO would agree on getting average amount of backlinks from nofollow and dofollow to help not get caught in linkspam net. So, if you are new to link building, I suggest go for both dofollow and nofollow link building instead of concentrating on dofollow only.

Crossing Twitter 10k Followers Mark

⊆ June 13th, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ 2 Comments »

twitter-followersSo f ar, this is the best news I get in June. Hitting 10,000 followers is a new level for me. Finally, it is time to give up concentrating on increase twitter followers now. With Tweetlater, follow and unfollow becomes automatic. I only follow those who follows me and unfollow those who unfollow me with Tweetlater. I suggest those who wants to automate twitter account to use this service. There are a lot of Twitter users registered recently.

In Malaysia, top 10 Twitterers are all having 10k+ followers. Most of my friends are now using Twitter compared to few months ago. Thanks to local newspapers and tv ads that keeps on promoting twitter. I wonder what they get from promoting it. Anyway, from now on, I won’t be actively increasing my followers anymore. It is time to concentrate on other issues like link building and increase SERP ranking.

First Day Using Celcom Broadband

⊆ June 10th, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ 32 Comments »

celcom_156gsilverRecently, I’ve signed up a package from Telekom Malaysia (Home, Hop and Away) that comes with land line, Streamyx 1Mbps and Celcom Broadband sim card 384Kbps with free streamyx modem. I don’t purchase USB Broadband modem for Celcom Broadband as after surveyed, the price was around RM$350 – RM$400 with no contract or package. Yesterday, I was surveying shops in my hometown (Taiping, Perak) and found one of the shop selling the modem at RM$249 (US$70) without any contract or Celcom packages. I grabbed it since it is the latest model from Huawei (E156G).

Installation done automatically and everything goes very smoothly. Today, I tested the speed from my hometown, Taiping using Celcom Broadband 384Kbps, the highest download speed at 150Kbps and average download rate at 30-45Kbps. For RM$133 (US$38) monthly, I got both Streamyx 1Mbps line with land line (including Telekom phone rental) and Celcom Broadband at 384Kbps. I think it is worth every penny. Now, I got good reason to removed the router at home. It is time to use separate Internet connection for both computers.

Currently, I’m downloading 2-3GB each day monitoring 1,000s of new blogs and extracting high PR pages for high PR dofollow link building services for my clients. I find limited bandwidth to blog, drop, comment, find new high PR dofollow blogs, etc. Plus, I’m intending to add more niche blogs. So, it is the best chance to try out other competitors in Internet Service Provider (ISP) market. Are you having more than one ISP line? What is your best reason? Please share.

Compare Web Hosting Providers

⊆ June 8th, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ 24 Comments »

green-hostingWhen it comes to online business, we need to take measure of several issues to stay competitive. Design and contents are the most important following link building. Let’s say, your website or blog able to develop more than 1,000 pages indexed in search engines and ranked well for several keywords. Of course, it is the dream for all blogger and webmasters to get more visitors each day. But, are we ready to support growing number of visitors? Huge amount of size downloaded each day from your server if you have thousands of visitors per day. Is your web hosting account able to support this demand?

Are you still using sharing account with unlimited domain hosting? If you have been using sharing hosting with only 10 domains, you should know by now that the load time of any of your web pages gets slow gradually. Slow is not good for business and if you notice your blog or website load slower, it might be that many visitors are loading your pages. Plus point is you are getting more potential visitors to your website. The bad news is you might test their patience by letting them wait for long period of time to load your pages. I would suggest go for dedicated server instead of sharing for real online business websites. If you have been using sharing server before, compare the services on download rate, upload rate, etc using dedicated hosting account.

Check the options of green hosting too. All hosting account rated here are below $10 and gives money back guarantee of 30 days. If you assume that famous web hosting service providers are still the best in town, you might need to check their rating before committing. No matter what is the usage of hosting, check the best option you have with rating and feedbacks from direct customers.

Best Way To Find Dofollow Blogs

⊆ June 5th, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ 34 Comments »

how-to-find-dofollow-blogI don’t rely on anyone’s dofollow blog list to search for new dofollow blogs. Most of the list available online are not updated for months or years. Huge number of dofollow blogs change to nofollow daily. Verifying dofollow blogs frequently helps to create good list of dofollow blogs. Using Google Custom Search Engine will help us to find nofollow easier. Randomly search for any keyword from custom search engine (list of dofollow URL you have collected) and verify the comment links are dofollow or nofollow.

There are only one method I prefer to use to find high PR dofollow blogs. That is manually search from google or yahoo search engine. Mostly, top results for any keyword searchedwill have high PR. Going trough top 1,000 search results for any keyword will deliver hundreds of new dofollow blogs to our list. Continue doing this for as many keyword as possible. At the end of the day, you might able to collect hundreds or thousands of verified high PR dofollow blogs. Commenting on high PR dofollow blogs might help you increase page rank. Better if they allow keyword in name section of commentators which helps tremendously in google SERP ranking.

Check Your Spam Comments

⊆ June 3rd, 2009 by Work At Home | ˜ 18 Comments »

spam-filter1Not many bloggers check their spam comment list here. Not all comments in spam are spam. There are several good and nice comments related to the blog posts queued in spam list. Either you use Akismet or any other spam filter plugins, some good comments are still can be found in spam comment list. Some of regular commentator’s comments hit spam box as well. Failing to moderate spam box might cost us losing some of our hardcore blog’s fan. Make sure to frequently check your spam box for any genuine comments.

Each day, I approve more than 10 genuine comments in spam box. If you are commenting on someone’s blog and found out that your comment is in spam list. Quickly, inform the blogger using contact page with your comment details such as URL, Name, Email, etc. This would help the blogger approve your comment. Well, how to check comment hit spam box? It’s easy. Whenever you hit “Submit Comment” button, if the next page referred to “blank page”, then your comment is in spam box. Contact the blogger immediately.

Just because your IP or name reported by someone to spam filter, it doesn’t mean all comments coming from the same IP will be spam. Spammers don’t stick with one IP address. They use dynamic IP and proxy sites to spam. There might be some genuine reader that uses the particular IP can be a victim. So, check your comments in spam box regularly.
