Topics: Link Building

Building links is extremely beneficial in search engine optimization. Almost 90% of ranking is measured from the quality of back links we receive. Although, .gov or .edu top level domain (TLD) blogs are still considered as normal as .com or .net TLD, there are some significant different in page and domain level authority. Simply because .gov and .edu tend to get more organic back links and been around online for a long time. Age domain with growing organic back links is a formula to increase authority. Thus, the value and authority of .gov and .edu is considered high in link building industry. Some are willing to pay huge money to get .edu back links. Today, I’m going to share a list of high PR .gov wordpress blogs for free. You are free to comment and this links will definitely increase your domain authority even though some comments are nofollow.

I’m going to share similar list at least once or twice for our link building partners who wants to get high quality back links. This may be helpful for those who fails to find high page rank .gov blogs. It is not easy to get .gov back links. So, even the value of comment author link is considered as low or grey hat, there are some value in it that can increase your page ranking if its dofollow or authority if its nofollow. WordPress comes with default Akismet spam filter plugin. Try not to use keywords in name section. Once you have been marked as spam by one wordpress blog admin, all your next comments will hit spam list in any domain of wordpress blogs that have Akismet installed. You need to contact Akismet to remove your domain URL from their spam list in order to get your comment under moderation list. You will be referred to a blank page once you hit the submit comment button. This shows that your comment is in spam list and most probably it won’t get approved. I strongly suggest you to use any common name instead keyword for wordpress commenting activity.

You can do a site:URL on Google to find more internal blog post with page rank with the help of SEOQuake plugin installed on Chrome or Firefox. For example, searching “site:http://tn.bluemounds.wi.gov/wp/” in Google search box will give you a list of all pages and post indexed under wordpress blog. You will also able to view page’s page rank with the help of SEOQuake plugin. Now, getting high page rank .gov back links is not hard anymore. Usually, not many will share .edu or .gov blog list because it is high value and worried of spamming. But, I believe in Akismet spam filter can manage spams better in this list. Comment genuinely and get high authority back links to increase your domains authority too.

Happy Link Building!

Thank you for posting the EDU links, many of them have a lower PR and none of those I have checked are dofollow, too bad. Useful anyway to get some edu backlink.

  5. Alvin Lim says:

    Hi Atniz,

Great list of gov links but how come I don’t see you comment on any of the blogs that you have listed here? May I know how you create backlink from these kind of blogs? Thanks

  6. Great list indeed! But I have seen some of the links that doesn’t approve comments. Its that what I said because I saw no comments listed from the posts.

    • Atniz says:

Usually, wordpress blogs will moderate comments. Unlike other blog engines, this carries good SEO value if it is dofollow. Will share more valuable list soon.

  7. Nice links, thanks for posting, I found some of them listed as PR8 were only PR5 though.
