Blogging is an investment because we spend quality amount of time in research, developing contents, building back links, creating social media networks to promote the blog, creating a list of fans in subscribers and comments and more. Blog itself is a money platform which will deliver revenue to our Paypal or any other payment processors through advertisements. There are some blogs who doesn’t support any kind of advertisement and solely depending on donations. Either way, blog is a good way to attract money or we can be a self-made millionaire too just like any other probloggers who grows together with their blog.
Most of the time, we may lose the motivation to write and don’t do postings consistently. These are the drawbacks that hold us from succeeding. Blogs with lesser frequency of blog post updates tend to draw low number of organic traffic from Google and will eventually have lesser love from Google in terms of page rank or SERP ranking. So, posting frequent contents on our blog is the only way to success in blogging industry. Personally, I find it hard to manage even one blog with consistent updates. I wonder how those bloggers with 5, 10 or 100 blogs able to manage these blogs with consistent updates. The problem is we tend to give up in long run managing several blogs. There are some bloggers who writes and posts at least 3 months advance updates for their blog just to keep their blog stay active.
First of all, getting the Google love is easy if we post update daily. This will attract Google bots to visit our blog daily. By, visiting our blog daily, Google will slowly crawl deep inside our blog to get more pages indexed in their search engine. The more pages indexed, the better organic traffic referred from search results. Indexing is the first concern before proceeding to ranking. So, posting daily contents to our blog will help our blog contents to be well indexed in search engines. It is not only increasing number of indexed page in Google but will also increase our blog value. With increasing number of organic traffic referred from search engines, our traffic will increase (both in Google analytics and Alexa).
The more traffic we get, the higher is the chance to earn money from blogging. If you want to hit new target in blogging income, then you should start from posting content updates frequency. The more contents you post on your blog, the better chance you stand to earn more money from blogging. That is why blogging is considered as an investment that attracts many buyers who is willing to purchase blogs to make money in sitesell. With five figure income target plan for this blog, I’m still way too far from reaching the goal. Probably, I may need to increase more posting frequency with high quality posts. As of now, I’m still struggling to post one article a day. So, the demand over reaching five figure incomes could also mean to post at least 10 new blog post a day for even a three years old blog. This is just an assumption based on earlier target achievable numbers.

Posting consistently with good quality are what’s important. Someone being consistent is difficult for me since writing takes a lot of time for me. Sometimes it is just so hard to think of the right articles and the right words to use.
It is hard to maintain a consistent schedule if you plan to post daily, consider posting every other day unless you have at least 20 hours per week to invest in blogging is my recommendation.
I agree. Spending at least 3-4 hours a day on a blog is important. This idea is helpful for those who manage single blog and thrive to make it famous.
regarding writing often, i have a tip: write most of your posts at the weekend when you have more time. during the week i have such little time (i work 10 hours a day and need my 8 hours sleep!) that i don’t have much to write decent posts, so instead i just collect ideas and at the weekend i let the love flow
Great idea! I used to write during weekends too. It helps a lot especially when we have to allocated weekdays for other works.
Been consistence is hard for a lot of people, but for the people who can maintain that level..sky is the limit..
