It is common to have an unlimited hosting account for most of the bloggers these days. Thanks to the competition in hosting industries that made it possible. Now, we can have unlimited hosting package from as low as $2/month to as high as $9.95/month. Most unlimited package gives unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage size, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited add-on domains, and more. The competition in hosting industries give better service to the users like us. But, are we really utilizing the full benefits of this packages? Personally, I have been paying for unlimited add-on domain hosting with unlimited storage and bandwidth for more than three years now. The maximum number of active site I have been hosting on this package was one. There are less than three add-on domains with static pages. Only only blog that is Atniz.com have been actively added contents, gets huge traffic and more. It is like paying for the whole ship cruising for a single person.
As part of expansion, I have started second blog in same niche as this blog (SEO) and gave up on that blog right after first post. Even for this blog, I find it hard to get new ideas to post under SEO niche. So, having two blog under same niche is just not helping. After a few months, I have started second blog under health niche. This is completely unique niche from current blog that is fully concentrate on online marketing, SEO, Work At Home, etc. This allows me to keep both blogs active. Of course, I don’t expect any income from new blog but the in few months time, it will be fruitful. Having several blogs under unique niche like Travel, Health, SEO, Parenting, Tech, Automobile, etc under same hosting account give broader opportunity to make more money from blogging. Of course, it is not easy to manage contents, traffic generation methods, etc for more than one blog. Plus, the quality might be lacking if one runs more than one blog.
Running multiple blogs with highest quality takes a lot of time. Only those who spends most of their time online or full time bloggers able to do it. Otherwise, those who loves to write still able to support more than one blog sacrificing link building methods like commenting on other blogs, etc. Usually, Google will rewards those frequently updated blogs with decent page rank. So, stop worrying about manual link building process and leave the worries of backlinks to organic and start concentrating on quality contents. Running multiple blogs may increase your pocket money plus you will have the satisfactions of utilizing unlimited hosting services.
