April 2010 is another month that draws four figure incomes as previous month. Although, it is still lower than March’s income, but I am glad it is still in four figure mark. I was worried that this month will not be a great month like March as I might get some luck last month. Compared to last month, I managed to get several paid reviews and paid tweets income which contributes higher than last month income. This is the 2nd month I’m earning four figure incomes from this blog. Reaching this target earlier than targeted period which is 9 months earlier gives good motivation to raise the bar.
So, I have raised the bar of monthly income target to five figures now. I know it is not easy figure and you may also call it unreachable target. But, trust me I feel the same way when I was earning less than hundred dollars when my target is four figures but I am able to reach it within 2 years time. Now, I have to do the same magic with more blogs and link building services to reach this figure. With new laptop, I am able to work during weekends. Usually, I will be out of town during weekends to pay a visit to hometown. I guess, it serves the purpose and help me to work more now. Reaching five figure incomes could be far but it is reachable. I took 2 years to reach four figure incomes. It may take two or more years to reach this figure. With growing business demand in link building and starting up more blogs, I hope to reach that goal faster.
Now, let’s get down to the stats and earning comparison during this month and March 2010.

- 118,000 followers Twitter (8k new followers within a month)
- 375 RSS readers (-15 subscribers within a month)
- Average unique visitors increase to 300 UV per day (dropped from 400UV)
- Alexa 32k (unchanged)

Total: $1011.10
Compared to last month ($1341), there are $330 drop. I have been driving a lot this month attending interviews, job fairs, etc. Recently, I tried visiting job fair to look for any opportunities in SEO field. But, there are very limited job available in this niche. I guess, in Malaysia SEO is still a new field. I am happy to work full time from home but sometimes it is too boring to stay at home all day long. So, I tried to get some fresh air in new organization while supporting my blogs and link building services. This is not successful as there are not many opportunity left here. I guess, I might need to stay at home and work for now. Now, the job fair season is over and the earning for this month still on four figure mark. I guess, blogging and link building is a better opportunity than any current job opportunity that I am going to get. With recent target of four figure reached and new target bar raised, I have huge workload to reach that five figure target income. Wish me luck!
