Blogging for money is not the only option to make money online. There are various channels other than blogging to make easy money today. Joining latest buzz and running various affiliates can get us some income too. In fact, top bloggers makes decent income mainly from affiliate income. I have been using Twitter for almost 2 years now with over 100k followers and never able to make money from it until last 2 months which earned me over $200 with only four tweets. Sometimes, luck may strike too. Giving a try to all other possibilities to make money is crucial. Solely depending on blogging income will not get us far in this competitive market.
There are millions of blogs and thousands of new blogs created each day. Competing with same niche level blogs that might have higher Page rank and traffic will not help us much in getting decent blog income from link or banner sales. But, supporting some relevant affiliate product or services can contribute to our overall earning. If your blog is about marketing, try to put up some marketing relevant affiliate products that will help your visitors to manage their marketing strategies. Also, having a profile in top social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc is a must for serious bloggers. You might find some lead from these channels too. Basically, we won’t know exactly where our lead will be referred. Getting our name and link up in as many as relevant sites possible will only increase our chance of getting more income.
Open up your choices to accept other programs and give it a try. The more channels of earning opportunities added, the better your chances of making solid income in future. Plus, it also improves our learning capabilities of working programs. There are tons of make money scam programs out there. This will only makes us stronger while increasing monthly income from various income channels. If you have Twitter account, try to engage in contest or any other schemes that will increase number of followers. Register to multiple ad network that helps you monetize twitter. You can also use Twitter as part of your affiliate marketing channel. I able to get one or two sales from Hostgator affiliates through this channel too. So, get your opportunity widen with more channels instead of depending on traditional channels.

Yah I can relate to what you have mentioned, affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to earn passive income using your blog posts. Last year I could make two sales of Yaro Starak’s Become A Blogger Premium and one sale of Jeff Johnson’s Operation Quick Start and earned a referral income around $400. And I think writing a useful product review of our own rather than just copy/pasting the swipe file you get as an affiliate would be a good idea to increase chances of getting more sales.

I know many pro-bloggers out there earn very much mainly from affiliate marketing. It’s a very promising field besides from selling links on blog and Adsense.
At first, I was surprise to know that people can earn decent money from the internet.But when my brother showed me the possibilities, I pushed myself in and see things myself.
There are several ways to earn online, some work on others and some may not, but the things is, none comes to those who quits. My brother was a student then but he already earn good money from forums about his passion.
