It has been great month for Atniz.com blog. The domain is 3 years old now with continuous updates for more than 2 years. It helped to get some good traffic from search engines and referrals. I used to get some offers between $10k to $20k from private business buyers that are interested in purchasing this domain. Recently, I got an offer that I can’t turn down, that is $100k. I am sure, you will do the same as I do if you receive such offer for your 2 years old blog. Well, you may thought it is overrated, but this buyer wants to use this domain name for some specific purpose. They are acquiring this domain on branding name issues. I guess, this company is established because they can spend $100k to get a preferred domain to use as brand name which doesn’t carry any meanings in any language in this world.
I am thankful to have good fans and supporters that keeps me writing and help to update my blog consistently. Without you, I seriously doubt that this blog could reach $100,000 value in just 2 years. Personally, I don’t know how the buyer will use this domain. I am not sure that they will keep this blog too. Recently, I have started my second blog under health niche at Total Health Tips would be my primary blog for now. Only thing is that it is under health niche and not “Work at Home” or “SEO” niche. I am planning to start a new SEO blog soon after coming back from holiday. Planning to go to India for a short trip (probably a month) to visit places like Goa, Taj Mahal, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad after the transaction completes.
Since, this is going to be a bye-bye post from me, I would like to giveaway something awesome! How about an Apple iPad? For the 100th commentator of this post, he or she will receive a free iPad on April or May 2010 depending on the availability. Finally, thanks to my family members who still believes in me even though they don’t know what am I doing with computer to earn my living.
