Officially today, I am launching my second serious blog after Atniz.com at Total Health Tips. It is not easy to manage even a blog with consistent updates. Since, I am a full time work from home mum, I have some time to get my second blog started. Earlier, I have started another SEO blog and gave up within first post because I don’t know what to write anymore. Having two blogs under same niche is not easy to manage. Sometimes, we might run out of idea to update both blogs under same niche. Most bloggers will even run out of ideas to write for one blog. Imagine of having two or more blogs under same niche with constant updates.
I love to read about health topics since small, probably because my mother. She is retired now from 35 years service in local hospital. The first blog I have started before Atniz.com is about health too using blogspot and gave up within 3 months of blogging because I am unable to cope up with 6 blogs. Now, I am back to 2 blogs. Currently, I am getting help from few ghost writers and my husband to create content for this health blog. I am also trying to do daily post, similar to this blog too. It is not easy to create daily contents for 2 blogs. Luckily, both blogs are from different field, plus with a little help; I think I can manage to run 2 blogs for now.
Having unlimited domain hosting package for 3 years now with only one blog active makes me wonder, am I really utilizing the tools I have? I have some experience in running wordpress blog and have deep interest towards health topics, so I think starting a second blog is just fine. Installing Google XML sitemap, All In One SEO pack, Feedburner, Google Webmaster, Google Analytics, Google Adsense, What Would Seth Godin Do, Comment Relish, Akismet, cForms, themes, Yet Another Related Posts plugins takes some time. Also an introductory post and about page with over 300 words each helps to give a good starting point. Not to forget the contact page; every single blog need to have contact page. Also, getting 20-30 highly relevant categories make me go mad. So, are you planning to start second blog soon? What is your preferred niche and plugins?

I’m curious if you thought the .org extension a compromise. I have a couple of .info and .org domain containing high rank keywords, which is no sure formula for success.
Noticed the .com counterpart is 15 months but seems to only have 1 blank page, with no backlinks or old search index. If your blog takes off perhaps you could snap up the .com to catch the type-ins.
Good luck with the 2nd blog, I have a couple of blogs and I guest post now and again and it takes most of my spare time trying to keep up with everything…
