Twitter Deliver Good Conversion Traffic

Many still don’t convince to use Twitter as part of their marketing tools for blog or website. As for this blog, I have seen Twitter have delivered good number of traffic which is better quality than any other traffic sources. Twitter delivered good amount of traffic that is interested in our product or services. You may write a good sales page with 140 letters including link to it. Those who interested in the topic will click and drop to your site. Some may retweet it and help you selling your product for free. In anyway, Twitter is a must tool for online marketing for your business.

I have been monitoring clicks on adverts in this blog and it looks weird to me as Twitter delivers high number of advert clicks. Although, Twitter is not my main source of traffic, it delivers the large portion of outgoing links from advert clicks shown on this blog. Even, search engine traffic has lower support for advert shown. Losers to Twitter will be, search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc), Entrecard, Stumbleupon, Digg, Digitalpoint forum, etc. This shows my major traffic referring sites that loses to Twitter conversion. Check you Google Analytics to monitor conversion rate closely on your blog or website as well.

It is time to build more friends, acquaintances, fans, etc through Twitter platform. The more communication you held in Twitter, the better conversion it can deliver. It is not the number of followers always deliver the best results. It is the involvement, replies, creating connection, bonds, etc that delivers the most out of our Twitter account. You can even get good amount of traffic referred from Traffic from hundreds of followers that keeps close communication with you rather than having an account with hundreds of thousands followers with zero communication. So, it is still not late to explore Twitter possibilities for your blog or website.

    Hi Reena,

Twitter has been widely used and utilized by most internet marketers and monetized bloggers in the US and UK for the past year.

But it seems still fresh and new to Malaysian bloggers. Not everyone is actually using it, somes don’t even know how Twitter works.

Well if it’s being utilized and properly used, yeah it does bring massive, yet QUALITY traffic.

By the way Reena, since we’re both from Penang. I plan to meet you up and have an interview with one of the success bloggers like you if you agree. What’d you say?

    Thank you.

    Kevin Tan

      Hi Kevin,

It’s good to hear from another penangites. Thank you for having such a good impression on me. I am not a successful blogger yet. Still in the learning process. There are a lot of full time bloggers that earns four figure (US$) income from blogging. I am still half way to reach there. I guess, I can join this interview once I reach that goal.

Twitter is still not so famous medium among Malaysians but it is getting popular. Top companies, politicians, celebrities, etc that is based in Malaysia starts to use it. It will be just a matter of time, Twitter to explode over here. What do you think?

      • Thanks for your respond, Reena. I appreciate that you’re being so humble. :) I’m sure you’ll be reaching that goal soon and I can’t find a reason why not.

I don’t know much about Malaysian bloggers. One of the most successful ones I see is Hongkiat. Maybe there’re still many that are earning a decent income online anonymously.

And yeah twitter is starting* to be exploded here. The more Malaysian twitters, the better. :)

      • Also, just to clarify, I’m also still a learner and in the learning process. I’m not a successful blogger yet, either.

I just noticed that there’s a list of Malaysian bloggers. How amazing. I think I don’t have to request Adi (riceblogger.com) as that’s written with a script so I think if it works well, my blog will be discovered? Just what I guess.

What I’ll need to do is post and keep posting with useful and unique contents like you do. Reena, you’ve done a great job! :)

Thanks Kevin for your nice comment.

Actually, you need to have your blog on Technorati to be listed in Adi’s list. Also, you need to request to him manually, the same way I did. I don’t think he have the script to find Malaysian blogs.
