Starting a blog or website is similar to buying a property offline. For example, let’s say you have a Jewelry business shop lot and your business is growing massively that you plan to start another new business right next to your shop lot because it is easy for you to manage both shops. It will be a bad idea to start another Jewelry shop right next to you. But, you just want to save cost in management and prefer to start a new business right next to your current shoplot. The best idea is to start totally new business which is not in Jewelry business. Maybe, you can start selling shoes or fashion clothes instead of selling jewelries. Almost any field we blog, there will be advertisers looking for your support. It depends on how popular and competitive is your niche. As long as, you can maintain high quality blog with consistent unique content update, advertisers will keep knocking at your door.

I think this situation only apply when you try sell link. Yeah — it is nearly impossible to sell link in 2 blogs with same niche and same ip.
