There was a time where most bloggers and link builder’s hunts for auto approved dofollow blogs. It is easy to get a dofollow backlink in a single click from a blog post. We don’t have to wait for the comment to be approved and published. All auto approved dofollow blogs have auto approved comment section. Which means your comment will get publish at the instant you click the submit button. I was collecting this list too and able to sell the list to some link builders as well in the past. For link a builder you gets large orders a day, they might not have time to wait for comment moderation. This is the reason why auto approved blogs becomes so famous among dofollow blog commentators.

When it comes to quality over quantity, I choose quality. Have you ever notice that most auto approved comment section will be full of spam comments. Some comments with hundreds of URLs in or pharma, casino, etc type of links scattered. There will be at least few hundred of comments can be found per post. Is this where you want to get your backlinks from? I would prefer not to do any link building campaign than getting a backlinks from these pages. Obsessed with dofollow links often convince us to get a backlink from these site. Here is an example of high PR pages from .edu blogs with tons of spam comments that is not moderated. It is tempting to get a backlink from .edu or .gov since many “experts” have claimed that these TLD backlinks will give good ranking factor. Plus, if the edu or gov page have high page rank, it is just appealing to get a link from there. Let’s assume, you able to find one blogpost that have low number of comments and high PR or relevant to your niche. You must be very lucky to find such page on auto approved dofollow blogs. But, this page is just about to get spam as many will continue to use this page to get a backlink. Some link builders will use the same page to get several backlinks to their campaign. This will lead to spam environment.

If you are into dofollow blog commenting, I suggest never ever get a backlink from auto approved dofollow blog comments page. It may look nice for now, but in time your URL will be a neighbor of spam links. I don’t want my blog link or any of my affiliates to be in such a bad neighborhood pages. My strong suggestion is to go after moderated dofollow blogs. Use your keyword if they allow or just use your name as dofollow backlink without keyword will still pass page rank juice. Well moderated dofollow blogs gives much better value for your backlinks and it is worth for your investment.
