Many have prayed for year 2010 to be better year compared to last year. By now we must have listed out goals and targets list for this year resolution. You may find new opportunities to make more money online or offline. You may have target to start 100 new blogs and earn decent residual income to pay off all your debts. Or, you may want to get that sexy beach body before going to Hawaii by end of this year. No matter what your goal is, you must be prepared every single day for your battles towards reaching goals. Do not treat yourself as a machine that works 16 hours a day doing your business or jobs. Goals often related to stress and pressure on individuals.

The only part I hated worked as Mortgage Sales is “Target”. Meetings, screw ups, punishments, late hour workings, weekends appointments and more literally dries up my two years of life for the bank. It is motivating to see those top sales getting five figure incomes monthly from commissions. I wished to be one of the top sales which I able to grab the spot for twice in 24 months period. Having goals and target makes us work harder and cost us a lot of sacrifices. Time spent with loved ones are very limited, lack of exercise, sleep, stress and more. Now, I realize that this is not a healthy way of reaching goals. Relaxation, rest and holidaying are a must for those who work hard.

Give some time to yourself and your loved ones. We need to have complete rest today to work better on tomorrow. Here, I have listed out some of the ways that you can follow to relieve stress:

1. 8 hours sleep (daily)
2. Short evening nap (daily)
3. Meditation (daily)
4. Yoga (daily)
5. Stop smoking and drinking alcohol (I don’t)
6. 40 minutes exercise a day, 5 times a week
7. Body Massage (Once a week)
8. Foot reflexology (One a week)
9. Ladies / Friends gathering (Once a week)
10. Family outing (Once a week)
11. Two Weeks Vacation (Once a year)

Remember, stress will just block all our new ideas and make us look like a total loser. Make sure you have taken your relaxation methods to reduce stress at work or in the family. Give yourself a treat whenever you achieved something great. Spend more time with family activity and gatherings. Friends is a must for all, meet them at least once a week and chit-chat about anything that makes you laugh and happy. If you have more ideas on how to reduce stress, please share.

Taking naps changed my life. As long as you don’t sleep on your bed so sleep on your couch. And don’t sleep more than 45 minutes or you won’t be able to sleep at night. And boy, will you ever feel refreshed.

Short nap can be from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. It will be difficult to sleep at night for beginners. But, once you make use to it, everything will look easy.
