One of my goals in 2010 is to learn how to type faster. We don’t really realize how much time wasted typing each day. From replying emails, blog commenting, forum posting, writing blog post and more needs a lot of typing works. I wish to save some time learning typing and allow myself to spend more time with family. I must say, it is not an easy job to learn typing fast but with daily exercise it is achievable in less than a month. I was typing at 25 words per minute before taking this tutor. Usually, I have a lot of errors and end up searching “backspace” correcting those mistakes. But, now I can easily write 400 words post in less than 10 minutes.
Of course, list type of blog post needs extra time in researching links. If you are writing a blog post or just rambling about something, you should be able to do it faster now. My perfect typing guru is TypingWeb. They offer free training for beginner, intermediate, advanced level, specialty course, news exercise and certifications. Currently, I’m at specialty courses with average speed at 50 words per minute and 98% accuracy. Of course, this is not the highest score from this website. There are typists that can type over 200 words per minute with 100% accuracy. I guess he or she can get Guinness book of record there.
I’m not going for any book of records here. I just wanted to save some time I’m online and spend it with my family members during 2010. I able to write 6 articles a day and complete all the other works within 5 hours of online work a day. If you want to earn money online, first thing you should do is take up the typing lesson and learn how to type faster. Next, take some fast reading course and learn how to read faster. Now, you are equipped with the basic tools that you really need to make money online. You can be a copywriter or sell your articles to any webmaster or blogs. Internet industry is based on contents and most website is in hunger of contents to get targeted visitors. I would say, learning typing will only add more opportunity in our hand.

I can honestly say I’m quite thankful that I became a transcriptionist for my first job. I wasn’t a bad typist, but working there taught me to type without blatantly looking at the keyboards and it improved my typing speed.
Luckily I’m not so bad at typing instead I need to improve my thinking speed
I’m sure you will if you take this tests. It saves me a lot of time replying comments and typing articles.

I have 50+ speed so slow to participate in the competition and its a shame on losing on someone got 64
50+ is an average number for adults. Good work!
I’m up to 50 words a minute now. Didn’t take a typing course. What I did was one day, I just decided not to look at the keyboard and only looked at the screen. Felt like taking the training wheels off a bike!

You don’t have to be a secretary to learn type fast. As a blogger, you need to type fast. You type comments, blogpost, articles, emails, etc every single day. Typing fast could save you some time in long run.
I remember applying for an interview awhile back , they made me take a typing test , I think I had around 50 as well but I don’t type with all fingers on the keyboard

I was using some typing software to improve my typing speed and it worked great but i forget the name of the software.

Sometimes it’s fun when I catch myself typing a blog post in English while I talk in Italian with a person of my family. This is something I realized in the last months, as I tried my best at multi-tasking; sure, I can only do that when I don’t have headaches, etc. but it’s been a great help so far.
Typing 200 words per minute is a record I know I’ll never reach, but practice and focus on what we do makes it all better for sure.
I think there must be a mistake or maybe someone would have hack the site. It is impossible to anyone type 200 words per minute with 100% accuracy.
I feel the same too. I can’t type while talking with others. I’m not really good in multitasking.
