2010 – A Recovery Year
Make 2010 as a recovery year for your business. Earning more money is the main goal to help us pay outstanding debts of living a debt free life. Anyway, if you are not earning that much in 2009, then it is time to plan on diversifying income channels. Invest your time or money in any field that you feel comfortable. For me, I would suggest blogging and link building as a new income channels. As for blogging, we may need more time to get our blog established. It may take one or two years to create good content library, backlinks, fans, traffic, pagerank, etc. You can use this method as a long term business. But, if you are looking for short term income, then link building is a perfect way to make money online.
Link building is part of search engine optimization (SEO) and the most important sector in SEO. This is the most tedious section in SEO and it takes a lot of time and resources to get build quality backlinks. The higher percentage of SEO cost goes to link building activity. You don’t need to have 5 years experience to work as a link builder. All you need to know is how to get quality backlinks and offer your services to other SEO experts. Let’s say you are good in writing; all you need to do is get a list of quality article directories and learn about their terms and conditions of submissions. There are companies willing to pay you to create new quality article and submit to article directories.
A combination of contents and backlinks from In-Content section from a website gives good value to the buyers. This service called “Article Marketing Service”. You can survey the charges from your competitors from simple gooling. Now, you have covered one link building service in SEO field. You don’t need to take out a single penny to offer this service. All you need to do is write some quality articles that are accepted by article directories with a author link (anchored) to the buyer. I think every start of the year is always a good year to fix and recover from the problems of the past. SEO is not excluded from that specially that Google made a great change on its algorithm.

Hello!Going by this post of yours,SEO is certainly a profession worth considering in 2010.I truly believe this is a great way of recovering previous losses.I have suggestion from friends to try out this profession..contemplating of giving it a shot this year.Thanks for providing all the details.

My main linking methods are:
1) Blog Commenting: both dofollow and nofollow backlinks are good here, especially because I look at reaching a quota of 20k Yahoo backlinks for my most active blogs within end of 2010
2) Network Linking: my blogs link to each other whenever it’s relevant (not spammy). For instance: my character A blogged about a day spent with character B; and B blogs about it adding a backlink to character A’s report on the same day. It’s like a fictional social network. Add to it that I link to my characters’ blogs whenever I introduce them in my personal posts, thus creating new backlinks for those sites.
3) Social Blogroll Linking: links to blogroll friends inside entries (for special mentioning, dedications, etc.) usually lead to them posting an entry with a backlink to me, as a way to say ‘thank you’. This is naturally built, as it’s part of the social side to the ‘Net.
4) Article commenting: this is a bit more rare a method, since not many articles allow commenting; though, whenever I find one of interest, I do leave a comment, even if I get a nofollow backlink only (see my Yahoo backlink goal above).

20k backlinks for each blog from blog commenting needs huge time. Even for one blog, it may take years. You should be working so hard from now on.
Try not to excessively do link exchanges within your blogs. It will not so helpful if done excessively.

Maybe, I can give a simple suggestion since you are concentrating in commenting, try Top Commentators.
Try commenting on blogs that have Top Commentators widget shown sidewide. Getting on that list will give you number of pages on that blog as backlink. Let’s say JohnChow blog using this widget and shown sidewide and he have over 10k pages. Getting on that list will give an instant 10k backlinks. If it is dofollow, it would be even better.

Between the ups and downs, my Yahoo backlinks for honey-babe.net are around 4300, and 3400 for sweet-loves.net. That’s not bad, considering that I always commented very little on other blogs.

Yes it is. With strict restriction and nofollow attribute from article directories, I find it hard to manage large scale article marketing business.
