Have you been monitoring your position in Google search engine for certain set of keywords? You should be able to see that the results you get are not always the same. There are two type of SERP ranking changes that many misunderstands. For us, if our site drop one spot in ranking, it maybe because of some penalty. Questions like, is it because we are not updating our blog or website or my backlinks is from some bad neighborhood sites? It is important to have good ranking as it is an assurance for our website to grow.
For example, if you concentrate on keywords like “Baby products” and it happens to be your site ranks on first page on Google. Assuming you check your website ranking on every single day from 17-20 December 2009. Let’s take 5 simple reading below as an example:
12/17/2009 – 5th position
12/18/2009 – 9th position
12/19/2009 – 3rd position
12/20/2009 – 2nd position
Huge fluctuations like a sudden jump from 10th page to first page may be because of good SEO points. Same goes to drops from 1st page to 10th or more which may result by penalties or lack of backlinks quality or some other SEO points lacks. There could be 100s of reason why our site drops suddenly or increase suddenly in Google search results or SERP ranking. But, small changes like few rankings up or down as the above example can’t be related to any SEO or penalty points.
Google has introduces personalized results earlier that they think which results may be suitable for us to rank higher. Usually, they can only do this when we are log in to our Google account like Gmail, Adsense, etc. Nowadays, Google can provide personalized search results even if you are not logged in your Google account. You will get different results from home, office, Internet café, or proxy. Each result has its own personalization attributes.

I know you can get a real result through web master tools but if you cant use a prxy server like hidemyass.
Proxy server is another option. But, we can remove “Customization” by clicking disable customization in “Web History” on google search results page (top right)
