Regular links in each tweets makes out twitter profile look like bots. Some RT, FF, Replies, Ramblings, and links will make us look more human.

Not sure where you get this reading from. I suggest you to check PR from several other PR checker tools. Sometimes, Google toolbar shows earlier page’s PR. So, it maybe the reader’s error.

Time zone format does make the difference. Most of my clicks coming from Asian timezone.

Tweet always helps. But, I’m sure your profile will look spammy if a link in every tweets. Try to make some tweets without link and with links. A combination always work better. Maybe, you can run an experiment on this.

Usually I ignore tweets with links but only those with catchy titles. I will reply tweets with no links. It is hard to determine which tweet is made by person or robots these day.
