Bad neighborhood means site that is suspicious to search engine bots. - This site may be a link harvested sites (selling massive links type of site), or - having 100+ outgoing links (too many outbound links per page is not advisable) - Link to adult or porn sites If they link to you, it won't get you penalty. But, if you link to them, you are qualified to get penalty. So, be sure to check the sites that you giving link from your blog. Nice post. I just commented on it.
