Another earnings drop following from October 2009. Lately, I don’t really spend a lot of time on blogging. I have stopped replying comments, dropping entrecard, tweeting, updating blog post, social bookmarks, etc for a more than a week. In fact, I was not so active for months on this blog. As a reflection, the earnings dropped tremendously too. I was earning $600+ a month earlier and now dropped to below $200. Earning online is equals to the time we spend working on blogs or other services offered. Below are the income and traffic stats for this month.
Stats for this month:
- 64,000 followers Twitter (9k new followers)
- 300 RSS readers (15 new RSS subscribers)
- Average unique visitors dropped to 300 per day (earlier was 400 per day)
Income for this month:
Review: $50.00
Google Ads: $38.20
125×125 Ads: $20.00
Link Building Services: $80.00
Total: $188.20
It is not easy to reach back $600 a month level. When it comes to blog, everything starts with contents and link building. So, I guess posting one blog post each day is a good start.

I am curious … how long did it take you to get up to the $600 p/m? 300 visitors per day is impressive – do you get most of those from your social media presence?
….and, the question goes begging, are you no longer interested in blogging/internet marketing or is it just that life has taken you in a different direction?

It took nearly 18 months of blogging for me to reach $600/month. 300 visitors per day is still low to earn higher volume of money. We need to get at least 1k unique visitors /day to get good offers. I’m sure it will be easier to earn $600+ if we manage to get 1k traffic a day.
Almost half of my traffic is from refferral – Twitter, Entrecard, Forums, Other Blogs, etc.
Another 30% is from direct traffic and 20% is from search engines.
I suggest you to keep posting new contents and do some social bookmarking to new contents daily. It will help bring traffic faster. More traffic means more money.
I’m interested in IM and blogging. I guess I have taken long break from it. Now, I’m back with new goals in 2010. Wish me luck.

I really hope so. Now, it is too difficult as I need to make over 300% improvement. I wish to continuously blog and never take break earlier.
