I use Twitter (for corporate websites’ promotion) in these ways:
1. Write about news: new products, new services, news
2. To post an article (preview, of course)
3. like a mini-SE but adding # before keywords.

Just wanted to add my two cents here. Twitter is viral and twitter is a great potential to bring targeted and converting traffic to a website. If you have branded yourself in twitter it must be a joy ride to earn tonns of money. I have seen some guys earning upto 1000$ from twitter traffic alone.

Actually this year is twitter year and it really can give traffic. This site doesn’t have any business plan yet and I think they are planning to monetize it by 2010. Hope this can really bring benefits to twitter users too.

They able to raise huge money and with a boom in mobile industry, I don’t see any downward trend in Twitter.

I’m not too sure about it. But, if it is worth, I will take the chances too. I notice some networks pays up to $300+ per tweet if you have more than 80k followers. I will definitely love to tweet if someone pays me that much for 140 letters of tweet.

The unfortunate part is that twitter also gets hacked quite often and gets overloaded on bandwidth once in awhile.
