Social media network like Facebook and Twitter is one of fastest growing traffic platforms that gaining almost all age group users. The traffic is huge and each message can be delivered instantly. The owners always look at the bright side of this idea of networking and instant mass messaging. Tweet from a celebrity or politicians might reaches millions of people within seconds. Every single application has its good and the bad side. Twitter has its negative side too that may lead to disaster. Famous celebrities are using Twitter as one of the advertising platform. Each tweet may not be genuine and might be undisclosed paid tweets.
Imagine if someone able to hack Barrack Obama’s twitter account and post some sensitive tweets. It can lead to major disaster depending on the message. The vulnerability of underage in Twitter is not controlled. Almost anyone can send a link in tweets that lead to pornography or unhealthy activities. There is no age group or warnings set for following or followers on any account. There are still some of the profile image have nude pictures for few weeks before removal. A close monitor on these simple details should be taken into consideration.
Facebook have slowly grasped their spot with incoming revenue from advertising platform which helps them build better platform. Twitter should diversify their earning channels in order to provide better security for members. There are a lot of benefits and simplicity in Twitter that enable it to grow faster than any company online. It should also come with better security measurement to protect all age group members and account safety. Let’s not take simple steps on safety and security as Twitter’s platform.

Yea, it depends on who we follow. If we have an autofollow option set to increase number of followers, we might end up following those bots and scammers.
Another large problem with twitter is the countless messages one receives by robots claiming to be people. Twitter would be greatly improved if they could find a way to eliminate the fake accounts.

Twitter now has a “Report *user name* for Spam” link, which is under the little “gear” button. It will alert twitter to a possible problem account and with enough reports will get them banned.
Twitter does watch for activity that doesn’t seem normal. Reporting these spammers won’t ever eliminate the problem, but it will definitely help eliminate them faster.

Yes, with this tool they can track well on scammers. A good upgrade for twitter.
They are improving by dumping large amount of fake accounts more often these days. I lost couple of followers whenever this happens.
So, just use twitter for marketing purpose.

Twitter can be good if we know the limits. But, it works good for my marketing on this blog.
