Hey Reena, I have an ice-hockey sports blog on a wordpress dot com domain that I started just for fun. In just a few months, I’ve gotten a fair amount of traffic already. I recently got invited to join a Sports Blog network where they’re going to register a domain and build a Joomla-based blog for me.
Unfortunately, I know a fair amount about SEO, but I know very little about the Joomla platform. If it were a wordpress platform, I would know most of the SEO and sitemap widgets that I would need. Any advice on Joomla-based ‘widgets?’

I am not familiar with Joomla platform, so it is a bad idea to give any suggestion.
Maybe, you can voice up your question in DP forum (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12) under SEO section, and I am sure you will get few good answers from real users there.
