Are you planning to start a new website or blog or sales page to sell some affiliate? Before starting a new site, I suggest you to research the niche from several factors. It might too late to think, is this a correct niche after a year starting the blog or website. I have seen blogs that gets more than 5k unique visitors per day but not making good return because their niche is in myspace. Some blogs in real estate niche get less than hundred visitors a day but helping the site to make four figures monthly. It is totally depends on the niche that you are going to enter.

I have strong interest in SEO but this field is very competitive as there are 185 million pages and I need to competed for a maximum PPC of $3-$5 per click. Usually, the average earnings give less than a dollar. Of course, there are other high paying niches like loans, real estate, etc with similar competition. PPC for these sites can deliver on average of $5-10 per click. I used to be a Mortgage Sales Officer before quitting my daily job to blog full time. I just noticed that “mortage” is one of the highest paying niches in online industry. I wish to start a mortgage blog instead SEO blog

Going trough set of keywords from Adwords Keyword External Tool will certainly gives a clearer picture on our future earnings in from google ads. If you plan to start a new blog, try to choose something that is in your interest and high paying niche. Choosing something interesting but low paying niche will not really help us in long run too. We need good paying advertisers in order to support a blog in long run. So, choosing a high paying niche is extremely important. If you already own a blog, try to research several high paying related keywords and include it in your posts. It might help to bring in some extra revenue from your blog.

There’s a lot of niche that is yet to discovered and not on Keyword research tools. It is up to you to discover it and just be online, be aware and optimize your site.

Agree. There are so many low competition keywords with high paying niche that many still don’t realize. I guess the top marketers keep this keywords and niche as a secret.

    Hello Atniz,
Its an extraordinary post from you. I read it twice carefully but you know if I start a blog which may be high paying niche but if I’m not of that area or I don’t like that subject then it may be tough to be successful. Don’t you think so?? I am interested in SEO and web design and internet but as you said these are of low paying niche and extremely competitive.

    Thanks

SEO and Web design are considered as average level when we compare it to other niche. Definitely, it is not the highest paying niche. I suggest choose a niche that is high paying and low competition. Try run some analysis on top 10 sites on google for your targeted keywords. If the sites have 5 or 10 million backlinks, it is almost impossible to hit top 10 in a year or two. So, take some time on researching deeper before selecting right niche if you want to start a new blog.

  7. Wow, SEO really sounds like a competitive niche. You’re so right about the Adwords keywords tool – I started several websites before I found out about it. It turned out 2 of them were optimised for low traffic terms, and another one gets good traffic but the niche is low paying. The keywords tool helps avoid both of these pitfalls – wish I’d known at the start, but there’s always room for improvement!

I agree with your point on always room for improvement. I’m sure there will be some high paying advertisers in every single niche, we just need to search for the right keyword.
