Are you new to website or blog and looking for ways to improve traffic? Or, are you an affiliate marketer that totally depends on Google Adwords or PPC (Pay-Per-Click) to drive traffic. Learning SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is not easy and it’s not something that we can learn within few days. Understanding search engine (SE) algorithm and their terms of service (TOS) is the main part. Of course, we always don’t read the lengthy TOS in any registration. But, to learn SEO, we must begin with SE TOS. Plus, each search engine’s TOS can be different and learning about all SE can take a lot of time. Usually, many will concentrate on Google TOS as for me, about 70-80% traffic from SE are referred from Google.
If you are already doing well in PPC Marketing, venturing SEO will just double your earnings. Simply, going to any top webmaster forums under PPC and Affiliate section, we can find many experts making six figure incomes annually from PPC and affiliates. Everyone can start onsite SEO with the help of Google SEO pdf. This is the basic changes needed for a website or blog in terms of onpage SEO. However, backlinks is the most important part of SEO and it takes a lot of time. There are no proper calculation showing the importance of backlinks in SEO but my guess is that it will be more than 90%.
I have seen static websites with terrible onsite SEO and expiring in less than 3 months but able to rank first for some highly targeted keywords. After checking backlinks, it shows that that particular website has more than 50k+ backlinks and most of it are anchored keywords and dofollow. I would strongly suggest on learning how to get quality backlinks instead of too much concentrating on onsite SEO. If you are new to SEO, I suggest you to concentrate more on backlinks considering it is the most important part in SEO. There are tons of ways to get backlinks that you can immediately start from commenting on blogs, forum posts, social bookmarks, etc. So, who says SEO education is not easy?

SEo education is Dificult becuse we must instal our blog with much new plug in like all in one seo park or bStat……
but, the most important in SEO is internal link and eksternal link and keyword…
Plugins are very useful for blogs to perform well in SEO. I wouldn’t say internal or external link as most important point in SEO. Backlinks are the most important for me.
Yes, I agree with you sist. We can learn SEO for free from the blogosphere but still need to implement it on our blog/site. Also for blogging, learn about blogging is free as well, there are so many source about blogging out there.
I strongly believe information is free. In any field that we want to learn, there are always some valuable information that we can find for free instead of paying hundreds for ebook.
Yeah it is free but if you want to do it correctly you have to invest a lot of time to learn. And we know: Time is money

Time is money. Learning SEO takes time and we can earn some money from it too.
SEO is one of the greatest things on earth yet so many people are unaware that such a practice exists. It’s basically leveraging the entire internet to your advantage and you’re right it’s certainly not an over night thing. The search engine algorithms are constantly changing so its a very volatile practice to stay on top of but soooo worth it!
I agree. It is similar to conquer online business in specific industry. Top ranking sites are most often conquers the business.
Some people who want to learn SEO immediately assume that they must buy a book or something when there is so much to learn online. These people don’t even know that you can look at any websites coding by clicking on view in the browser, then clicking on Page Source.
Some of the basic things still need to be taught for many. As long as we have the will to learn, we can do it without a book too. If we don’t wish to learn, even a thousand dollar ebook couldn’t help us learn anything about SEO.
Thanks for your tips. I also believe that we should not spend too much of our time on on-page SEO as it is the backlinks that will make our sites rank better.
Agree with you. The large portion of SEO is from backlinks. It is extremely important for those who wants to do well in SEO and SERP ranking. So, spending too much time on onsite will not get us far.
Wow wonderfully depicted….
Personally I think that SEO can be learnt from internet with so much of available resources on the net about on page and off page seo.But yes implementation of seo tips are the most important.Either you do it yourself or outsource it.
Thanks
It true. Sometimes, we may do it wrongly. But, it is alway good to get some advice from forums or blogs before implementing new SEO strategy.
THanks for this post, I’ve been working on my SEO and trying to really under stand how to improve. I’m glad i comment a lot which means I’ve been increasing back links all along
Yes, you are doing good if you already commenting a lot earlier. It is funny that you don’t realize that you are doing good in backlink creation.
SEO education is easy and not easy. It is easy if you understand it, but it is difficult if you not understand it.
I agree. I think many will give up because it seems so difficult do understand the basic.
The concept of SEO seems simple but the tough job about it is overtaking competitors doing the same thing. Building backlinks can be a key but also consider user experience, site reputation and reliability as part of traffic improvement.
SEO is a very competitive business and everyone can simply follow our backlinks from free tools available online to check and create backlink from these sites. But, learning about the quality, reputation, relevancy, and other important details need some resources and time digging about it.
