How To Index Blogpost Faster In Search Engines
It is not easy to get our new blog post immediately notice or crawled and indexed by search engines. There are several ways that we can help our new blog post to index faster in major search engine especially google. First of all, I suggest you to use All In One SEO Pack and Google XML Sitemap plugin installed in your wordpress. It is ok, if your blogging platform doesn’t allow you to install this plugin. You still can get your site indexed faster in google and other search engines faster.
Whenever you done a new blog post, submit or bookmark your new blog post in at least 20 sites below. Take note that this social bookmark sites are frequently updated and bots crawl this sites frequently. It is easy to get your site crawled and indexed by just bookmarking your new blog post to this sites. You can refer to high PR social bookmarking sites sorted according to Alexa, Dofollow and pagerank but I prefer below sites:
1. Yahoo Buzz
2. Facebook
3. Digg
4. Stumbleupon
5. Del.icio.us
6. Twitter
7. Reddit
8. Propeller
9. Mixx
10. Folkd
11. Blinklist
12. Multiply
13. Dzone
There are several social bookmarks that have been changed to nofollow but it is still a great tool to get our new blog post indexed faster in google. Most of my new posts get indexed in google within an hour. Thanks to my preferred list above. If your new post is not indexed in google for days, try submitting it to at least 10 site of the above list. I’m sure you will be able to see your site crawled and indexed faster.

Ping-o-matic is a great tool that comes in default in wordpress. When we don’t update our blog for few days, it is difficult to get our new post indexed in few hours. Social bookmarks really helps that.

Caffeine update is still in the process. I think it will get harder to get top SERP ranking but not for indexing.

I use both the plugins mentioned, I also ping a lot of sites with my RSS feeds, to update them. You have to be careful with some of the sites listed as if you post from your own site too much they ban you, StumbleUpon is a site that seems to do this quite a lot..

Yes, Karen. SU is good in doing this. I able to get indexed in SU once or twice a month which delivers hundreds of visitors a day plus it will keep your average visitors monitor at 25+ visitors at any given time.

I’ve never had any troubled getting my blog indexed. The posts are usually there in minutes! I have ping-o-matic to thank for that. But my non-blog sites… well, that’s a different story. It can take weeks to coax Google into indexing a static html page added to one of my sites.

Wow! Getting indexed within minutes is what everyone prays for. Good to hear that your posts are indexed so fast. It is normal for static pages get indexed late. Unless, if we can do some trick, it may speed up the process.

How do you bookmark a post in Facebook? Do you just add a link to the post on your wall? Is there any danger of being punished for duplicate content?

I just share a link on the wall. So far, I don’t see any punishment there from posting a URL in facebook.

No one actually knows about it unless google staff. They don’t reveal it to public. Only few details shared by Matt Cutts and Google Webmaster forum regarding this and we all can make use of it too.

Readers, this is Source Blogger.
Do not agonize over how Google index your posts or how fast. Trying to determine what algorithims Google utilizes is too complex.
Often, you can publish a post that gets indexed in 10 minutes while others take weeks. Yes, its frustrating.
In addition, focus less on how quick you get indexed, and more on how well your articles appear in Google, Yahoo, and Bing’s (MSN)search engines – with respect to your site’s keywords.
Atniz, thank for continuing to advertise with me on Entrecard. Great blog.

You’re welcome.
This is just a trick for those who want to index faster their blog post. It’s been proven working for many including me. Of course, lack of new contents always slows the rate. The more frequent we update the blog, the faster it get indexed.
