Hi Kylia,

Page rank on Twitter profile will not get us any page rank juice as it is nofollow tag. All links from our Twitter page is nofollow. But, there are so many Twitter syndication sites that gives dofollow link automatically on all links we posted. So, we still get some benefits from Twitter.

As for PR7-8 is not common for normal people. As you can see, these profiles are huge and well maintained. I managed to get PR6 on my twitter profile for now. Hope to reach PR7 soon.

Twitter profile itself contains nofollow links, either in user bio or tweets. It does not deliver any SERP value in Google.

I didn’t even think that Twitter profile Pagerank would count. I think it’s amazing that there are people who also managed to get a PR7-8 WOAH! I always thought those numbers are impossible for normal people to achieve…

My twitter profile is PR5 and top 3 search result in google. If it is no value of PR in twitter, I wonder how SERP value benefit with it.

Are we talking about pagerank here? Surely, it does not work that way. I suggest some PR checking sites for you to confirm:

Sometimes, Google toolbar shows previous page’s PR. In this case, it could be the main page of Twitter’s PR. The profile page http://twitter.com/username get different PR from main page.

I use Google tool bar. It is a 9 on the home page and since I followed a bunch of people, the other pages went to 0. When I unfollow to within 50 of followers, the other pages go back to 9 after Google drops by.
Like anything else, these things are always in flux. I stand by my statement that lowering your followed to with-in 50 of followers raises your score (For me by ‘9′) on all pages. (After Google drops by which it does every three or four days.)

I just check your Twitter profile, and it is PR0. Maybe, you should check with several PR checker like SearchStatus plugin on firefox, google toolbar, etc.
