It is common to see top twitter profiles by comparing the number of their followers. Well, pagerank is the way google look at your site with highest number of quality backlinks. Only quality link building matters. I did a simple explore on Twitter profiles and noticed that pagerank is not based on the number of followers. Due to search limitation and limited sources available, I’m unable to collect more than 5 profiles with PR8+. Obviously, pagerank is not based on numbers of followers we have. Also, highest profile does not mean they will get quality backlinks either. It’s funny to see Kim Kardashian, Britney Spear and John Mayer’s twitter profiles have pagerank 0. Personally, my twitter profile have pagerank 5 with 32k+ followers. I guess, I can live with that.

Page rank on Twitter profile will not get us any page rank juice as it is nofollow tag. All links from our Twitter page is nofollow. But, there are so many Twitter syndication sites that gives dofollow link automatically on all links we posted. So, we still get some benefits from Twitter.
As for PR7-8 is not common for normal people. As you can see, these profiles are huge and well maintained. I managed to get PR6 on my twitter profile for now. Hope to reach PR7 soon.
My twitter profile is PR5 and top 3 search result in google. If it is no value of PR in twitter, I wonder how SERP value benefit with it.
Twitter profile itself contains nofollow links, either in user bio or tweets. It does not deliver any SERP value in Google.
I use Google tool bar. It is a 9 on the home page and since I followed a bunch of people, the other pages went to 0. When I unfollow to within 50 of followers, the other pages go back to 9 after Google drops by.
Like anything else, these things are always in flux. I stand by my statement that lowering your followed to with-in 50 of followers raises your score (For me by ’9′) on all pages. (After Google drops by which it does every three or four days.)

Sometimes, Google toolbar shows previous page’s PR. In this case, it could be the main page of Twitter’s PR. The profile page http://twitter.com/username get different PR from main page.

I just check your Twitter profile, and it is PR0. Maybe, you should check with several PR checker like SearchStatus plugin on firefox, google toolbar, etc.
My twitter profile is 9 with 4k followers! a never know what Gooles thinking, (but I have some idea;))

All the pages on the web are assigned with some PR. Although, twitter profile PR does not give any value to our website, it is fun to look at it and compare with some celebs profiles.
My twitter profile PR is 4 but my blog PR is 2. So, twitter PR is useless to me, it don’t give any PR juice to my own site.
