Blogging for fun just enables us to write some ranting about our surrounding and daily life. It is just like a personal diary. But, if you can optimize your blog to be specific niche and search engine optimized, and able to get rank higher place on some targeted keywords, it can deliver some money to our pocket. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have private domain or don’t know how to operate wordpress blog. All it matters is good knowledge of SEO and consistency in content creation and link building.
I am not going to talk about SEO. You can find it on my seo category or seo tag. Make money online is easy if your target is below than $100/month. But, if your target is $100/day or four figures per month, then you need to spend a lot of time with less expectation. Of course, you need to spend a lot of time on good content creation while reading a lot of articles in your niche. Plus, getting quality backlinks from related sites can be time consuming too.
Every effort surely gets pay off once you able to get good SERP ranking in google and other search engines. SEO is like a tool for a blog to rank well. Knowing about SEO helps your blog to rank better SERP ranking and bring more targeted traffic freely. More traffic means more money in your pocket. If you able to get first rank on any of the highly targeted keyword, I’m sure you will be contacted by many advertisers to run simple text link ads or banner advertisement on your blog.
Here is an example of a simple blogspot blog that freely hosted on google servers with free domain ranked #1 on google.com for “make money online”. Noticed that this blog have long history of posts from achieves but who would expect to get paid $100 for a single 125×125 ad space on a free blogging platform (blogspot). This is the best example that I can find if we give importance to quality contents, link building, seo and most importantly consistency.
