Have you done any mass email marketing for your company before? Well, it is a trend of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) offers hitting everyone’s email with offers like we can get you to first place in search engine. Even, Google Webmaster received an offer from this

“SEO experts” – I think you should know what I mean there. It is common to see emails like “Dear google.com,
I visited your website and noticed that you are not listed in most of the major search engines and directories…”

Recently, I’ve received one unusual email and it sounds very funny. Here is the email and replies:

Hello,

my name is Sxsxn Rxxxxxsxn, and I found your website atniz.com while searching the web on the topics related to our clients general themes and interests.

I really like your site and I find the content quite interesting as well. I think we would benefit from possible partnership – for example link exchange, this would bring more targeted traffic to our sites, Google and Yahoo rank sites based on quality links.

My client’s website is related to yours. Please add it under

Salt Lamps – Organic Skin Care - gourmet table salt

“Toot toot com” provides a wide variety of Natural Crystal Salt Lamps, and other natural Himalayan Salt Crystals and organic related works of art.

Today, more than ever it is important for companies to collaborate; this is an easy way for no cost way to help each other.

Please contact me when you upload the link and direct us to where it is. We will then add your link right away with any specific descriptions you may require.
If you have any questions please feel free to call or email me directly.

Thanks!

And I have replied

Hi Sxsxn,

Thank you for your proposal but frankly I am not interested.

First of all, I don’t do link exchanges.

Next, the link you provide to some Salt Lamps got nothing related to my blog
which mainly about SEO, Work From Home, etc.

I suggest you to target other website or blog.

Good luck!

Thank you,

  2. Dear Google.com, let us get you ranked on the first page of the major search engines…LOL

If someone hasn’t even done minimal research before “offering their SEO services”, how good do you really think they are at what they say they do?

  3. We get that spam at least 3 times a week now and we have SEO experts in the office and I can not believe they send this cr@p out.

  4. LOL I get these at least once a week and to make matters workse most fo them come from a gmail or hotmail account. Someone is offering me professional seo and web design services and doesn’t have an email through their website? Come on now.
Most of these canned spammails are coming from India. I never respond to them because you never know what mailing list you will end up on.

Lol, that’s very humiliating. It is very obvious that atniz.com is not about Salt Lamps thing or whatsoever. huhu.

mass emailing is like that. but you’ll never know who you might hook up with in the end.

  7. Sourav says:

That guy doesn’t know the basics of link exchange and how to talk with some one on net. He hasn’t shared his name and if he knows why link exchange are done then he should not have mailed you.
Anyway I have no such experience like that.

    Thanks

Actually, she shared her name and website address, phone and email. I just removed it in this post (not a free marketing for their spamming). Obviously, the content is totally out of relevancy there.
