Forgetting The Real World

Island-holidayGetting connected to Internet and spending more time online get us connected well over the net. But, in reality, we are going far away from real world. When was the last time you see blue sky? When was the last time you see stars? When was the last time you see full moon? Sometimes, I can’t remember when the last time. As a full time work at home mum, I spend most of my time in the house. Taking care of baby, house cleaning, blogging, twittering, SEO works and more keep me stuck in the house.

Sometimes, I’m proud that all my transaction, bills, reload coupon, payments, etc can be done from online banking. It makes me feel like we are giving away the chance to meet some real people. Enjoy the environment and witness some unusual events happening around. Spending too much time online just make me look like a loser compared to my friends who goes to work 8am – 5pm. Of course, the pressure is different when you are working under some company.

Sometimes, I just wanted to turn off my computer. Go away far from home and explore new places. Spend the whole day with my family members forgetting everything about work. Think of this way; as we work from home, we have the flexibility to choose anytime to go out. So, don’t get glued on your computer chair. Go out and get some fresh air. Who knows, it might give you an inspiration to work better.

Yes sometimes I feel the same too, I stuck to my computer doing some jobs from internet at home. But the hardest thing for me is, people think that I’m unemployment lol, because working at home with internet is not common yet in my country. Well … what can I say, as long as I still receive the check and I don’t bother anyone else, I don’t care whit what they say :P

It is still the same in my place too. They don’t know what I’m working on too. I always escape this question by answering, “Oh, I’m doing some home based business”.

Sometimes, we got no choice. I realize that too. We may good in our field, like online marketing, etc – but there are people out there who really works hard to make money. It is inspiring too.

Yeah, you are right. I enjoyed at PC Fair today. Crowded with masked face (scared of H1N1). At least we are reducing the chance to get this virus by staying in the house. At least, we can use this reason to console ourself. Lolz..
