This weekend is going to be exciting as Pikom PC fair hitting Penang International Sports Arena (PISA). Both my computers need some serious upgrades. I’m planning to start posting videos soon on this blog. Getting a nice camera and replacing CRT monitor is my first goal. I got 2 monitors on my working table. One is LCD and the other is CRT. Usually, I don’t look at CRT monitor that often probably because my 17 inch LCD monitor is more attractive.
My 19 months old son are slowly getting addicted to computer. He likes to see animal pictures on Cooliris (Firefox) with google image search and youtube videos. He loves to see animal videos too. This is one of my main reason to get a LCD monitor and another computer for my son. One of my friend suggesting me to use LCD compare to CRT which is better for eyes. I’m sure this PC fair going to make me flush away some savings.

It was money before. But it became like a habit and I dont worry about the money. Now, it is more fun, plus i start making more money from it.

Have fun at the PC Fair! I switch to an LCD awhile ago and I love it. I did have some trouble before I switched with my eyes burning and haven’t had the problem since.
I just got back from PC Fair. Huge crowd! I got my graphic card and dvd+r cd and acer lcd 18″. I got shocked to get acer lcd 18″ monitor for RM348 (approx US$98).
I was also planning to switch for an LCD monitor.
I strongly suggest you to switch. Not only it is good for your eyes, it actually saves your bill on electricity.

I recently bought one HP laptop and after that I stopped using my 15 inch CRT monitor. I do all of my work from blogging to video game playing in my laptop. I know I am puting heavy pressure on my lap top but can’t resist using it.

Who would resist that? I would do the same if I upgrade to a new laptop too. I’m going to PC fair today to get a 256/512MB average graphic card, and a LCD monitor.
