how-long-time-you-spendThis is the most common question to ask everyone who is working from home full time. It is demanding to for us to spend more time online to learn and earn more. But, family commitments could give us limited time. I always find free time at night to blog and do link building works. I used to spend around 2 – 4 hours a day blogwalking, commenting, forum posting, and writing posts while dropping EC. But, the earning is always limited to $100 – $250 per month. I’m going to spend more time online and monitor how it reflects on the earnings.

Building good network is very important to be successful online. Either, it is RSS subcriber or Twitter followers – Responsive network can help us grow. I’m going to spend most of my time on building better template for this blog, pushing SERP ranking for “Atniz – Work At Home”, increase Twitter followers, and increasing rss subscribers. Moderating twitter account with thousands of followers takes hours even days. Also, I have used this theme for more than 18 months. Time to work on professional wordpress theme for this blog.

High PR dofollow link building work needs a lot resources and time. I am spending around 4 – 6 hours a day to complete clients work while build quality backlinks for this blog. In total, I am spending 6 – 10 hours a day online, 7 days a week. How long are you online a day? Where you spend most of your time online?

I spend about 8 hrs a day online – about 75% working; at my job and the rest doing blogging, ec dropping, networking and commenting.

somehow I just don’t see how people spend so much time on the internet and not get paid for all those hours.
no way – either it’s work and I’m getting paid; or it’s mytime and I’m off as quickly as I’m done with personal stuff.

It’s good to see you have a work that keeps you online 8 hours a day. I wish to have this type of job too when I was first graduated. Hope you are enjoying your work there. BTW, you have a great blog!

I spend quite a fair bit of time online. Even when I am doing work, I will go check to see if there are any new tweets or emails from time to time.

  3. 6 hours at work, 4 hours at home.. Mostly online marketing, surfing for information, and work on the sites I have..

Work at Home, have you considered using eBay Partner Network to raise your earning income?

    • Work At Home says:

I have installed one ebay plugin too but never use it yet. They have stopped accepting .com affiliate new sign ups long time ago. Maybe, clickbank product would be more appropriate for this blog niche.

Depends on the day, sometimes 1-2 hours other even more than 8 hours just reading, when I think about this, ouch! Poor eyes.

    • Work At Home says:

Yeah. Eyes is the main problem. That is why I always eat one carrot a day, keep good distance from (LCD) monitor, use filtered eyeglass. Maybe, you can try eating carrot daily for your eyes too. It works for me.

For me, I spent about 4 hours daily on average. Easily can go for full time if money is not an issue. But again, if money is not an issue, I won’t spend much time on net :)

    • Work At Home says:

If money is not an issue, I would spend my whole day shopping. Increasing knowledge and earning money from our field is a motivation to spend more time online. I think 4 hours a day on average is still low. Maybe, you are still at Pulau Perhentian. Lolz…

  6. Jim Weiqi says:

Well, I think I spend about 7 hours online a day, but not everyday, it is important to “think” regularly by doing nothing. I’m exploring all ways to build content and links, I never insist on one thing (like link building) only. Grow slowly, grow surely :)

  7. I can be online a few minutes or even for a few hours depending on what I need to do, if I’m blogging then I take time writing my post, so that can take a while, surfing the net usually gets me distracted, you know the problem, you look for one thing and end up finding something else ;)

I know exactly what you mean dear. How to avoid drop and go if the blog have some interesting topic and pics. I always do the same too. Thanks for RT. Appreciate it.

      1. Comment on dofollow blogs. You can find dofollow blogs easily from http://atniz.com/dofollow-search-engine/

      2. Since you are using Entrecard, I have a list of blogs that gives dofollow link sidewide for Top Droppers and Recent Droppers. Continuously drop on all these 200+ blogs to reach “Top Droppers” or “Recent Droppers” list on their blog which will give you sidewide dofollow backlink.
