I am very happy to get listed on rank #12 on Top Malaysian Bloggers list created by Riceblogger blog. Actually, I was not listed on the list, probably because this is still a new blog (18+ months). So, I contacted the blog admin and ask him to get my blog listed. I got shock to see this blog ranked at 12th place. It feels like 18+ months effort have been just paid off. Hope this blog can reach Top 5 ranking soon.
This list is only based on Technorati and Alexa ranking. It would be better if we have more ranking metrics like pagerank, quantcast, compete, etc to measure blog ranking. But, this is a good start to see group of bloggers based on geographic targeted list. The same goes for twitter account as Atniz ranked #6 in “Kuala Lumpur” zone (Malaysia) Twittercounter. Glad to see these ranking increases together with traffic, Alexa (ranked #46k) and Technorati. Hope to get good pagerank in next google update too.
I suggest you to contact local top bloggers list admin and request for inclusion. This can help you gain some quality backlinks from geo targeted websites or blogs. We can easily find top bloggers list from our town by googling it. It will be extremely helpful for those who is targeting for local traffics.

As far as I can see from browsing through your blog, you post on average every 1.5-2 days. Why do you feel you’ve ranked so high with what seems like a fairly low frequency of posting(compared to some)?
Thank you! Actually, it is about 3-5 posts weekly on average. I don’t feel. I just got ranked. Whether it is low frequency posting or high, it doesn’t really matter. All it matters is to write some quality posts and learn how to draw targeted traffic.
