Search engine optimization (SEO) is something that we need to know at first place before developing a website or blog. SEO not only involves link building but on-site SEO as well. On-site SEO should done simultaneously with website development right from designing phase. If you outsource or request for themes or templates for your website, make sure to check is it a SEO friendly templates. Here is the list of question that you may check with your designer/developer or do it yourself:
1. 24 On-site SEO Checkups by SEOMoz
2. 13 Basic Onsite SEO by Alibi
3. 12 Basic Onsite SEO by Miles Price
Above are four interesting lists that we all can tackle on our blog for on-site search engine optimization. I’m strongly suggest to install All-In-One-Seo-Pack plugin for wordpress users. Then, go to Setting>All-In-One-Seo to edit your main blogs Title, Description and Keywords. Thereafter, for every new blog post, write something interesting in all three section (title, description and keyword) in this plugin columns at the end of your blog post page in wordpress.
Thanks to Matt from Sacramento Weddings recommending WebsiteGrader. Check your website grade and learn how to improve our onsite and offsite SEO for free. I just checked mine, and got 97.8% with some minimal SEO lacks which I did not see until now. I suggest you to check your grades and improve it.

I was just looking over the sample report from the Website Grader Tool. Looks interesting! I’ll have to give it a test drive. Thanks Matt!
I want to ask, how to increase visitors to our blog
? thank you
Just increase your serp ranking on google for targeted keywords. You will see your traffic goes up. Install google.com/analytics and monitor closely your referring traffics. Improve it. Being on Top Commentators List at Shoemoney or JohnChow blog can deliver 10-20 visitors a day. Even, twitter delivers hundreds of visitors too. Join twitter and get more followers. There are thousands of ways to improve our traffic. I can suggest one more – Entrecard. It delivers 100+ visitors a day by just dropping 300 cards a day (takes about 40minutes a day).
Atniz, you missed the BEST online SEO diagnostic site: HUBSPOT (www.hubspot.com) and their WEBSITE GRADER (www.websitegrader.com), which does a very good job of providing constructive suggestions to improve BOTH your on-site and “off site” SEO.
Oh yes Matt. I have heard a lot about this site earlier, just didn’t check yet. I just run the diagnostic on atniz.com and get 97.8% optimized. I have subscribed for fortnightly report too. Great site! Thanks for sharing.

I set the plugin and edit all meta tags on description, title and keyword for each blog post. It helps.
