Recently, I’ve signed up a package from Telekom Malaysia (Home, Hop and Away) that comes with land line, Streamyx 1Mbps and Celcom Broadband sim card 384Kbps with free streamyx modem. I don’t purchase USB Broadband modem for Celcom Broadband as after surveyed, the price was around RM$350 – RM$400 with no contract or package. Yesterday, I was surveying shops in my hometown (Taiping, Perak) and found one of the shop selling the modem at RM$249 (US$70) without any contract or Celcom packages. I grabbed it since it is the latest model from Huawei (E156G).
Installation done automatically and everything goes very smoothly. Today, I tested the speed from my hometown, Taiping using Celcom Broadband 384Kbps, the highest download speed at 150Kbps and average download rate at 30-45Kbps. For RM$133 (US$38) monthly, I got both Streamyx 1Mbps line with land line (including Telekom phone rental) and Celcom Broadband at 384Kbps. I think it is worth every penny. Now, I got good reason to removed the router at home. It is time to use separate Internet connection for both computers.
Currently, I’m downloading 2-3GB each day monitoring 1,000s of new blogs and extracting high PR pages for high PR dofollow link building services for my clients. I find limited bandwidth to blog, drop, comment, find new high PR dofollow blogs, etc. Plus, I’m intending to add more niche blogs. So, it is the best chance to try out other competitors in Internet Service Provider (ISP) market. Are you having more than one ISP line? What is your best reason? Please share.

In my country (indonesia) there are many ISP, i use very cheap ISP Indosat M2, its only $12,5/month, with 460.8 Kbps speed, After test only 18 Kbps max for download. I think speed similiar with price
For 460.8Kbps, 18Kbps download rate is very low. I suggest you to complain about this to your ISP or seek for less competitive ISP that gives better download rate.
No posts in 10 days, hope all is well with Atniz.com
I suggest you change the Top Commenter widget for 30 day resets.
Thanks for the concern Matt. I was away being a tourist guide for my brother and wife along with my husband. Rounding two northern Islands in Peninsular Malaysia took almost 2 weeks. I took my holiday without a notice. Really sorry about that.
that already sounds good.. and it’s a nice move to use Huawei…
Thanks Rusli. I love this Huawei modem. Easy to carry anywhere we go.
Congrats for your new internet connection.
Anyway why don’t you write a post about high PR blogs and like that for all of us.
Thanks
Thanks Sourav. I have shared some high PR (PR6) dofollow blogs for free on my recent post. Hope you will enjoy it. Thanks for asking about this.
i think u use too much bandwith.
Yes, but I don’t download movies, songs, games, youtube, etc. Extracting and verifying dofollow blogs takes a lot of bandwidth. Loading a blog page uses a lot of bandwidth these days. With the small tiny widgets to get load, the bandwidth get overused.
Pretty good package with the celcom with it.
Yes Simon. I’m glad to use this package as it saves me almost 50%.
Celcom sounds really familiar..
Celcom is just another mobile telco company in Malaysia. They also provide ISP broadband services.
Hmm, a separate isp for each home computer … a couple of years ago I would have thought you’re nuts. But not now!
With the prices constantly dropping, it’s become much more affordable. Plus, getting broadband internet anywhere in cell phone range – who could resist that ?
I’m actually thinking about getting something similar. My ISP has been acting up lately and I’ve had up to 4 hours of no internet connection at one time. That might not sound like a huge problem to some, but believe me, when you’re using the net to earn $, this is unacceptable.
I agree with you Jack. I was using router and share one internet connection for both computer. Things are slow when you have a lot of work. Plus, some ISP have daily download limitations. So, I’m sort of forced to get a second ISP. Money is the key. If we don’t make enough money online, then I guess one ISP would be very fine.
Damn Top Commentor resets, its really a bummer to make comments just to get reposted on the TC list.
Sorry about that Matt. I was away very long time from blogging and Internet. Now, everything is back to normal, well I hope it is. Hope to see back soon. And, thanks for writing about me in Digital point forum.
Its new and fast and you have many options about it. But we have limited. there is dial up connection in our area. let watch when we can get such services.
Thanks. I’m sure you will get this soon. Many companies are expanding ways to earn money and ISP is a good field.
