It is not easy to go for further study when we have commitments like daily jobs, family, part time work, and other social activities. Well, it is not always the same during economy crisis period as now. The simple jobs are highly competitive and we need to have proper certificates with extensive experience in order to survive longer. Also, it is not so easy doing time management to attend those tutorials and classes while working. That is why, you can always seek for study at home at your leisure time.
You can pursue study in professional field like pharmacy courses too. You don’t have to attend pharmacy school to learn practical or theory, where you can do it in your comfort at home too. My mum was a retired heart specialist in a local government hospital. Health industry are in constant high demand in most of the countries. That is why medical officers or other professional health job’s pay always on higher side. If you have desire and love towards jobs like pharmacy careers; now you can learn it from home.
Personally, I can’t stand the smell of hospital and blood. That is why I never end up in my mother’s field. Are you planning to further your studies? If you have choice to choose field of study, which course most likely will it be?

cool, your article and that dool is the best partner!..
and thank’s for your information about economy crisis, I think it’s usefull to me!!..
No problem Ilhahm. You have a great day!
This dog is too old to learn any new tricks! Studying a new field would be time consuming, fortunately my company is doing well during the economic downtime, and I don’t need to worry about this possibility. I’m already good at “Home Remodeling,” and I could make a living from buying This Old House and doing a fixer-upper, and then flip for a profit. Anything you buy NOW will only go up in value (Real Estate in America has hit the bottom in many areas).
I’m glad your day job is doing good for you. You must be lucky. Your job scope looks very interesting. Remodeling old house needs a lot of creativity and challenging too. I hope the real estate value to drop in Malaysia too. Planning to buy some land for investment purpose too.
I was never one for formal education. Living life and it’s experiences was education for me. Why pay someone to show you how to earn a living, just starting doing it.
I agree with you on experience is the best education that anyone can get. But, applying for certain professional jobs required some sort of qualification papers. Of course, a combination of experience and qualification papers works best.
Education is necessary at each and every step of any individuals life. Studying during economy crisis is one kind of challenge in it self. With peoper time management & planning i am sure one can over come this situation.
Thanks for sharing such a Informative post.
Yes Ricky. This will be a perfect choice for those who have lost their jobs too.
I think I can still study, but not necessarily to get a new degree. Since I already got a degree back in college (chemical engineering), I don’t think studying a new field will be practical for me now. But I think it is case to case basis depending on the person.
Personally, I don’t like to jump from my core degree as well too. That is why I’m planning to do my masters by end of this year in computer science. How you end up in blogging with a chemical line degree?
