United States VS India
When it comes to International traffic volume, the majority traffic is referred or directed from United States on most of the domain names. Recently, I checked on all major domain traffic details, the crown is still belongs to United States. Top 2-5th on most of the famous sites targeting International visitors are from India. As we all know, China’s Internet users are expanding but why China couldn’t get this spot? China visitors prefer to visit Chinese language websites and if we don’t provide the language option, it might be difficult to attract Chinese visitors.
Unlike China, Indian visitors don’t specifically looking for Hindi or Tamil or Gujarati language. They prefer to visit English written websites. In my opinion, the volume of Indian traffic to any major websites will grow and might exceed US traffic in near future. Try to write some Indian related articles in your blog post and monitor the traffic details. I’m not sure Cricket topic will do the magic. Taking into consideration of India population, education industry and IT exposure, I think India might conquer online industry in near future.
I’m from Malaysia and sadly not many Malaysians visit this blog. My visitors coming from:
35.5% – U.S
25.4% – India
9.9% – Indonesia
5.4% – Australia
4.9% – U.K
2.4% – Malaysia
More details

This is very interesting information. Being in the promotional products industry we found in the past that China was the place to go to for manufacturing in large quantities.
However recently we have found the prices going up and the service bottoming out. Many promotional product companies are now looking to India and middle east for their bulk orders. Many insiders claim India will be the next major product supplier for American retailers, or worldwide retailers for that matter.

We can’t expect quality from China anymore. The best alternative source to get mass production with good quality is India. I will have to agree with you on the part “India will be the next major product supplier for American retailers, or worldwide retailers”. I can see it is happening now.

The key difference between indian and american surfer is that an american surfer is utilizing the web where as an indian surfer is still understanding the web.

I wouldn’t say that. Indian surfers are mostly advanced web users a American surfers too. That is why most Americans outsource their programming, developing, maintenance, etc works to India.

Ya I agree that China is one of the largest country with most internet users but still they prefer using Chinese Language Website. Unlike them, Indians(like me) visit English websites the most. I have only visited 1-3 websites in Hindi in my life(that’s also as an expirement).
Well Atniz just one correction in this post i.e there is a typo mistake in 2nd para 3rd line where Gujerati should be Gujarati.

Very much Interesting stats of your Blog. I am little surprised as second largest Traffic coming from India. As per alexa stats for your blogs it is showing UK as second largest traffic. Many a times this kind of differences comes up where hosting provider is showing something different then alexa.

I’m Malaysian too but I still prefer traffic from US especially from search engine. Referred or direct traffic from US doesn’t help in making money online, but organic traffics do.
Most of my traffics from Malaysia and followed by US.

Lee

You must be happy that you know how to attract Malaysian visitors. Not many Malaysian site have huge Malaysian visitors. It requires some special technique to do that. I guess, you already master it.
