cute-twitter-logoAs we all know, Twitter is gaining more popularity each day. Currently, it’s Alexa ranking is at #36 (It was #10k just a few months ago) and my guess is that it willbe top 10 in Alexa soon enough. I’m not a online voodoo master to do any prediction here, but this is just a guess measuring it’s populrity among all group of users. I’m trying to get 20k niche targeted  followers and it’s traffic to blog using “You Follow Me, I Follow You” method.

Currently, I’m using Tweetlater.com service to help me out in managing followers in my niche. Set your preferred keywords in your niche and get daily updates of those who writes it in their twitter. Follow them with hope that they will follow you. This is how I get niche followers in Twitter. How about you? If you are using any other method or services to increase niche followers, please share it here.

for whatever reasons, i will not use any tweeter and call me an old fashion-still-stuck-with-geocities kind of guy :p

  2. Twitter is really becoming HUGE these days & it seems that within few months from now it will become #1 as far as social media network is concerned. I am sure it will beat Alexa of TOP websites which are present on Internet at this point of time.

Yes Ricky. My experiment is working for now. I gained more than 2k followers within 2 weeks. Also, the traffic from twitter to our blog raises too.

    Is Tweetlater free?

I don’t like this whole approach towards twitter. I recently wrote an article about this mass following attitude and that it’s actually not worth the time. Might want to check it out and give your opinion on it.

  5. I would be interested in knowing whether there is an increase in the number of click-throughs at certain times of day on Twitter.

  6. I hate Twitter! Its stupid, its idiotic……and probably yet another online activity that I’m going to end up participating in — some day?

Good luck to you. At first, I don’t really like the idea of twitter too as many used it for marketing purpose. But, we need to follow with the trend if we are serious in online marketing business.

I am thinking about running a giveaway contest where everyone that follows me on Twitter gets entered into the contest.

    • Atniz says:

Good idea. Good luck with the contest. Try to include, subscribe rss, commenting, etc too. Also, getting sponsors is one of the hardest part to organize a contest.

Hm i also have a twitter..
    But no so much active…

    • Atniz says:

Try to be active in your own niche. You will see many wonders there. Any question you throw, you will get immediate answer. It is faster and better than search engine answers.

  9. There is a problem with this system as I found when I did something similar with my blazingminds twitter, which I have now removed.

When you hit that 2,000 mark of who you are following, you can’t follow any more, until your following to followers ratio is improved, also when this happens you will find that all you tweets from search.twitter.com are deleted and therefore no one will find your past tweets or hash tags, you may of found this has heppend to you!

I think this is a way that twitter punishes those that try to get too many followers too quickly, something that I found out too late and that is why I deleted my Blazing Minds twitter and reverted back to my original “RemBeatZ” twitter.

Thanks for sharing this. I noticed that the followers count drop from 1500+ to 700+ in your blog. Why not try tweetlater.com It helps to follow limited number of followers and automatically unfollow those who not following us anymore.

  10. great post never aware of twitterlater help you find to your niche person

    Thanks
