googletoprankingSearch engine ranking is the most important factor compared to any other ranking especially google search engine. It is important to get top ranking in our niche in SERP or else we might lose to our competitors. Getting top 3 ranking for any keyword searched in google search engine is not an easy task. That is why, most of the SEO experts are charging thousands of dollars offering this service with no promises to get on first spot.

Search engine ranking analysis will help you to get to the top position for any targeted keyword in your niche. For that, you need to make use of Adword External Keyword Tool. For example, if you search “search engine ranking”, you will get 95,000 average searches in a month. Scroll down to the end of the page where you will see minimum or n/a searches. Select this keyword and start writing an article or blog post about it sprinkling the keyword 1 – 3 times in 200 – 300 words of article.

Then, do some link building using the targeted keyword as your name in comment section linking to the blog post (Anchored keyword) in dofollow blogs. It will be better if the page you comment have some PR. Monitor your ranking in google for the keyword you targeting. In my case, I tried with “search engine ranking analysis”. I’m sure it will be in top spot soon as not many will compete for low search volume keyword. If you able to do this in long run, I’m sure you can get thousands of visitors each day from google search engine.

Now, I have revealed a secret of getting to top ranking in google search engine within 2 – 3 days time. If you have any good idea, please share it too.

Very nice tip for bloggers just beginners like me.

I tried to come up with catchy titles for my posts. If I can work some keywords in, I’ll do it. Otherwise, I just go with the titles I like. And the ranking in Google always amazes me. The posts that I least expected always rank high and I get lots of organic traffic that way. I also get lots of traffic from the Google image search too.

I agree with you Carl. In long run, any post that have natural keyword create new traffic volume before it get famous. I still use non-seo titles, as long as it can attract visitors to read.

very informative, its a trackback and help to get top PR rank

    • Atniz says:

      Hi Shaine,

Trackback will be a help if it is published. It is even better if the published trackback link is dofollow because you will get a anchored keyword link pointing to you in your blog post niche.

In my blog, I don’t publish trackbacks. Unpublished trackbacks will not get you any benefits.

Thanks for the tip…I’m new to this and I’ll take any help I can get.

  5. I’m not sure if the method works in every niche. With some heavy competition for your KW— the waiting time could be 3-6 months (not days).

    • Atniz says:

Exactly. Competitive keywords takes a lot of time. For example, I’m concentrating “Work At Home” keyword for nearly 5 months now. It have 2 million average monthly searches. I’m on 40th rank now. I think it will take a year to get top 10 ranking for millions search keyword.

  6. Great advice and article! Alot of people spend months chasing something they can’t achieve (good ranking for a competitive keyword) while what your suggesting is much more productive, and you get real results.

    • Atniz says:

A lot of people concentrate on high volume keywords and gave up to the giant seo masters who works continuously to stay on top. The best of survival is getting top position on multiple low volume keywords.

  7. For me the hard part is to choose which keywords to do. It’s hard to find which keywords have low competition, meaning less people are blogging about it in the internet. At the same time, these low competition keywords should also have high search engine traffic, meaning more people search for it. I try to use “allintitle” in Google to checkout how many sites optimize for a keyword (example: Google in “allintitle:search engine ranking analysis” to know how many sites have “search engine ranking analysis” in their page title. The lower the results, the less competition. To determine search traffic, you can use the tool you mentioned above. The ideal combination is less competition and high search traffic. Happy Hunting!

    • Atniz says:

Agreed. The keywords are all created by us. If we can create a new keyword that is searched well volume with lack of competition, is best for us. Till then, happy hunting.

  8. Thanks for the tip! SEO is more an art these days since people do the same things to get SEO optimized. The result is of course, not all of them will get to top rankings!

    • Atniz says:

There are only one top spot for all keywords where millions of blogs will compete for it. I think this is the biggest competition ever in this world.

  9. if long tail keywords then it is more easy to get top ranking, you just need to do some link build with that long tail keyword as anchor text

  10. Izzy Daniels says:

This is rather tricky. I never thought of that, but it sounds like a good idea. I will have to try it out.
