Earlier in January 3rd 2009, I wrote a post on how I gain 21,000 backlinks for a 9 months old blog. Now, within 10 weeks after the post I manage to double the backlinks count to 42,000 backlinks in total. Frankly, I was not concentrating on blog commenting, link exchanges, pay for paid posts or links from other bloggers, etc. Within 10 weeks, I have managed to gather 21,000 backlinks using one single method. Dropping!
Thank to Entrecard, I manage to get 21k backlinks in just 10 weeks. I have collected more than 180+ blogs that gives sidewide dofollow backlinks to their top droppers. My main goal is to increase SERP for “work at home” keyword in Google. As a bonus of SERP increase, I’m able to build another fresh 21k backlinks during this period.
My blog never crossed Alexa 100k from 9 months of blogging. Concentrating on multiple sources of traffic (Entrecard, Forums, Search Engine, etc) helps me to double the traffic and ranking to new level (Alexa 60k+). Plus, I manage to double rss subscribers and twitter followers too. As a conclusion, Entrecard helps me to double up my traffic ranking, subscribers, followers, backlinks and friends within short period of time. If you are already trying a method, try to fully utilize it. I’m sure you will see the magic in return.

Good for you but please bear in mind that Entrecard traffic has extremely high bounce rates and that is not good for conversions (AdSense, affiliate links etc).
Bloggers that want to make money from their blogs must concentrate on getting traffic from organic search (read search engines). Trust me, organic is the best.
Organic traffic from search engine are the best in conversions. At the end, the real traffic is matters for any domain success. Either entrecard, search engine, etc, the best combination is to have them all. Depending on any one source might get us doom if the source don’t like us anymore.

The only thing that I find annoying about some of the sites that use certain tactics to increase overall traffic is that they seemingly forget to have good content on the site, which completely disregards the purpose of highlighting quality sites–for the purpose of directing great, quality, content to its readers..
Not all sites in this category. Some bloggers really works hard too. The moment we have multiple blogs, the quality tend to fall.
That really great for you. But are there any alternative than Entrecards? And how hard is it to handle for 10weeks to have 21K backlinks.
You can try being on top commentators widget too. This is a good alternative. Collect blogs that gives sidewide backlink to top commentator and be on it. I’m sure you can reach this figure sooner than 10 weeks.
n if u actually build 21000 backlinks thn u will get atleast page rank of 4 in this PR update…

lol.. that was not a prediction.. it was a simple math… i saw a list somewhere.. which said 250+ backlinks gives you PR1 and so on… unfortunately i lost that list else i wud have shown it to you…

but ya entrecard is really helpfull… only bad thing abt it is ..high bounce rate…
Getting on one blog on top commentators alone can bring you hundreds of backlink. This is because most of them give sidewide links for top commentators. If their blog is older, they might have thousands of internal pages. So, it is possible to get thousands of backlinks. You can do the maths on 180+ blogs. 21k is just a small number.
hey i dint think about that… you get backlinks from every single page.. but still this thing remains only for a month.. This is a nice idea to get backlinks but i would still prefer commeting over dropping cards…

I never tried to use entrecard.. though saw there ad on problogger.
