Rich Getting Richer, Poor Getting Poorer

donateMost of the world population is still living under poor category. Only a small fraction is considered rich. I’m from a middle class family and prefer to stay this way. However, there is one bitter truth of rich and poor. In most countries, rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer. I strongly believe that all of us deserve to live a better life. Have you done any donations recently? No matter what are our earning figures, a small fraction of our earning should spend for donations.

I don’t specifically donate to a certain agency or groups. When you walk on the road, there are many beggars, extreme poor people, elders who is still working as third class labors, etc. For some people, a dollar can mean a lot and they will be very thankful for it. Try to donate wherever it is necessary. In most culture, donation defined as good fortune and healthy activity for business.

The most favorite type of donations I like is buying a meal or drinks for third class foreign labor workers. In my opinion, they are the most deserving people. They work hard and eat less just to save some money to send over to their family members abroad. They sacrifice themselves for the happiness of entire family.

What is your favorite type of donations and why is that?

Your all correct. Sometimes you have to share your blessing to others.

  2. I follow the old adage “Give a man a fish, and he will eat for one day. TEACH a man HOW to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime.”

Instead of passing out $$ or food, try to come up with ways to get that person working! Get them into work training programs.

I follow the same adage when it comes to information on SEO….if you learn HOW to fish (get backlinks) — you eat for a lifetime (never needing Pay Per Click or paid advertising to market yourself).

Some organizations reap their financial interests in charity activities also. The best thing is to help the most deserving people directly. Labor class, old people, children needing help to continue their study etc are some options.

I agree with you. Once I ave attended for an interview for a company. We asked to get Credit card sign ups of monthly donations. My commission itself is 30%. Nearly 90% of the donations is gone in administrating it. Only 10% is going to the end person. I don’t think even 10% will reach the end.

    Hi Atniz.
    Catching up your latest posts.
Thanks for dropping your EC in my blogs every day.
I like to donate food or books. Soetimes they do campaigns in supermarkets in which I participate with what I can. I never know if money donations reach the ones who really need so I prefer giving food.
    Good wednesday :)
