Have you involved in real estate business? We usually buy a property at low price and sell it when the asking price is good. The same way applies in online industry. Do you own a blog or website? You can also sell your website or blog at reasonable rate. If your website have good stats, I’m sure you can sell it at 5 or 6 figures too. If you plan to sell your website, then check your website value first. Other than valuation, finding genuine buyers for our website is very important.
So, where to sell your website? Here, you can find a list of sites that allows you to post your site for sale. There are many targeted and potential customers that will bid your site. The risk of selecting buyer, communication, support and payment is fully yours. Here you can get hundreds of thousands of buyers who are interested in buying or trading websites.
Now, you know where to sell your website, do you want to sell? Or, are you planning to build the stats much higher. For those who is looking for a shortcut to have an established website for their existing business, where you don’t have enough time to build reputations that need 2 years and thousands of pages to be indexed in google. This could be the best market you can ever get.
Buying or selling a website involves large amount of money. Accepting paypal for intangible products (non physical electronic items like ebooks, domains, websites, services, etc) can be very risky for higher amount payments. Paypal allows the buyer to open a dispute within 45 days of payment date. I suggest on other payment processor like Escrow for this trade.

I have always valued a business by its potential. Not its worth.
Basically to get a rough estimate you can take its monthly revenue, multiply by 12 and thats it sell value.
This would need to be adjusted for a few things:
Is there potential of growth ?
Is it in the middle of a marketing campaign ?
why are the owners selling it ?
There are many people that specialize in internet real estate, and its a booming business.
People are prospecting like its the wild wild west.

You call it internet real estate. Perfect word for it. Good additional points share here. The main reason is, if the site revenue is that good, then why should the owner sells it?

Good luck in selling your site. Try to do escrow as there are many scammers out there.
