I have been work at home and do some offline business since 2005. It has been four years since I have started working at home for money. Of course, you can do all your work or making money ventures at your home sweet home seat. But, having the work pressure in our head, home will not be sweet anymore. Literally, we are changing our home environment to office type of environment. My mum always remind me that, whenever you back home from office, you should leave outside the all your work affairs, pressure, problems, pending works, before entering the house. Entering house with all this in mind after work with so tired, will only cause trouble to the family. It helped me to build a good family bonds.
Also, it is not good to show the anger of workplace to our closed ones in the family right. Since I have started my home business, I can’t really follow that rules. It is like you are on your work while taking care of your house and family members. Of course, you just need two hours to write few quality posts and few more hours to build some traffic to your blog. At least 4 to 5 hours a day needed to spend on one blog to see some money. With all this responsibility when you are at home, finding 4 or 5 hours a day is not easy.
Getting a maid can help you a lot. Remember, maid is just helping hand that will work with us to manage the house and cleanliness and not our slaves. I don’t really like to have a maid because there won’t be any privacy and my son won’t get the attachment he should get with his parents. I want to spend most of my time with him. Children only will be with us until certain age. At age 4, 3 hours at kindergarten. At age 7, 8 hours at school and few more hours doing other curricular activities. If could see, there won’t be much time that we can spend one they start schooling. It will be worse if they go to Universities or start working. So, the best time that we can spend our quality time with our children is at their young age that is before they step to school.

It seems you are looking at the negative side of working at home. If you ask just about anybody who commutes to work everyday, they would definitely want to switch palces with you if it’s that all possible. Working from home is a blessing and should always be regarded as such.
I have work in private sector for more than 2 years. I know slightly about it too. Of course, compare to that working at home is a lot better. But, we can’t really do the work or business at home if we too much concentrate on other things.
I really appreciate people who have the discipline to work from home without getting side tracked by all the temptations you have at home.

its happen to me, sometimes i get bored. in my oppinion, in real job and cyber job, theres no differences cause its take your time, and busy too. when i get bored, i go to the cafe and thing about the mountain that i loved. i make scheduled and try to disciplines. thats all, see u keep smile friend

Constantly doing the same job can get us bored. I agree with that. At least in cyber job and working at home, we have the ability to choose the time. But office work, we can’t really do that. Thanks for your input.
I work at home and I am constantly distracted. It’s almost like you’re at home and people expect you to do more around the house or take the neighbors kids to school when they miss the bus…..

Getting distracted is the main problem that we all face. At least, I’m not to the extent of taking neighbors kid yet. My son is just 14 months old. I can see this problem coming in my way soon. I think you should let your wife read this post too.
True. Being able to delegate house work to someone else would really help. And having a separate space at home, that’s devoted to work, and closed off from the rest of the house.

I believe many will agree to that. However, getting a good maid is not easy. I’m still going trough the list of maids that can help. Also, I can’t take any young and pretty looking maid, worry of my relationship with my husband. Hehehehe
It’s the amount of distractions you can find that really make it hard to work successfully at home! I wish I could though – I suppose maybe the answers a fully separate office area?

I agree, whatever we do, the work at home is alway not complete. Distraction is the first killer that drag our income down. I wish to open a office that is close to my home and work 8-5pm too.
Working from home is great but you need to have focus. One thing I noticed is that people in the United States do not work from home as much as people in Philippines and other countries.

I can pretty much relate to yours as I’m too juggling my time between my online business with the full time job of taking care of my son. It can be really frustrating at times but thanks to the other half who is always supportive of what I’m doing.
