Don’t ever feel pity for others

Do you meet anyone that in bad situation and take a step to help him out? I’m sure most of us will help for those who are in trouble. I have met a friend and he lost his job. He has responsibility for his three studying daughters and he is still paying for his mortgage. Plus, he is about 50 years old now. So, I decided to help him out. I teach everything that I know and consider that I have shared my rice bowl to him.

Once he have mastered and get his stand, he left with my entire customer list and my secret of trading. Now, I feel so stupid and victim here. The only thing I wanted to do is to help a family and got backstabbed. I always follow the below proverb strongly and found it extremely wrong.

“Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime” – Wrong

“Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will steal all your fish” – Beware!!!

Now, if someone ask you how to blog? Then, there is an easy answer: Google

  1. Yep, this is the costly lesson that life has taught me too.

By the way, rectify URL of this post. The apostrophe of don’t has broken the URL structure of this post.

The Christian idea is to never help anyone while expecting to be repaid. Of course, it is an awful experience to be repaid with treachery. However, think about how lost the one is who is treacherous.

You can feel sorry for that one. You can pray that that one someday sees the light. Maybe he or she will come back and apologize and even make it up to you (atone). So, don’t give up on anyone. Just don’t let the cares of this world dictate the condition of your heart. Don’t harden toward the whole world on account of the offenses to which you are subjected.

I really like hearing that you don’t think about the ones you help afterward. It sounds like you’re helping without expecting anything in return. It’s good that you don’t forget the help you’re getting too. People do help each other, and God makes it rain on everyone.

Thanks for sharing your positive attitude with the world.

    Peace To All.

    Hi Atniz,

Perhaps this will help. I hope so.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (Matthew 5:44 KJV).

Of course, there is this too:

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. (Mark 7:27 KJV)

You are right for the children’s sake to discern who is and who is not such a dog.

    Blessings to you and yours,

    Tom Usher

Thank you for your positive thoughts. I always have one thing in my mind
      - Forget immediately for those or what we have helped
(It helps us not to feel so bad, when the person forget the help that we offered him)

      - Don’t ever forget the help we get
(It helps me to thankful for the life that I’m living)

It is not same for all. Maybe, I’m too concern and feel so pity of this person. I just want to remind that this is dog eat dog world. Always have something for you before giving out.

Sorry to hear this story Atniz. Unfortunately, it is all too common in this business.

    • Atniz says:

      Hi Zack,

That’s ok. During crisis, you can see a lot of stories like this. Just don’t be too generous. Always keep rice bowl for you and your family before giving to others.

  6. invest money says:

Sorry to hear that atniz. I think it is wrong to generalize all people like that. We just need to be careful on who we help. When we start doing good things the good things will come to us.
