How To Start A BlogIf you don’t have any experience in blogging or website maintenance before, I suggest you to get a free blog domain and hosting services like blogger or wordpress But, I strongly suggest blogger because it allows you to use javascript and gives you potential of earning from google ads and also from other media. If you have no intention to monetize your blog, it is still good to stick with blogspot free blogs because it is another product of google.

You don’t have to create sitemaps or do any SEO things as google bot will automatically crawl, cache, and index all your new blog posts. Not to say that it won’t do this to wordpress blogs, but it is the simple concept that google and blogger is under one company. Final word, I’m strongly suggesting blogspot blogs as a free service blogs to anyone that wants to start blogging for better opportunities compared to other free blogging services.

Once you have registered your new domain.blogspot.com, you should start editing your outlook. You can get tons of free blogspot templates online. Just type “free blogspot templates” in google and select any preferred templates for your blog. Once you are set with templates, start posting at least once in 2 or 3 days. Continuously do some postings for at least 10 posts per month. Trust me, it is the number of most paid post networks considered as active blogs. You can write up to any number of blog posts a day, but I’m suggesting to keep it slow at first and start targeting traffics.

Once you are done with your first post. Go to other blogs and start commenting with your blog url. This will give exposures to your blog and most probably the blog owner will do the same to you. Other than this, there are many technique and methods to increase your blog traffic in very short period of time. I’m suggesting you to visit more blogs that talks about blogging and learn more from them. They provide free lessons for you and you can improve your blog from the information you gained from blog-hopping.

Now, you are all set to go. Start a new blog today. If you have any problem, comment here or contact me. I’m glad to help any newcomers.

Great starter tips. Just to share my experience, I’ve actually found wordpress.com getting indexed more quickly than my blogger entries. Might just be a freak occurrence, but I think it shows there’s not much to choose between the two. The other part I like about wordpress is that you can define your own domain – gives your blog a more professional feel, imho.
