Reduce errors in your blog posts

Reduce ErrorsIt is wise to write your blog post in Microsoft Word and check if there are any spelling mistakes, grammar error, or etc. My English is not that good compared to native English speakers, but we can always check our posts grammar and spelling errors for free in Word and correct it before posting.

Don’t copy any article from word format and paste it directly in your blog write post. It will show a lot of error when loading time. Instead, paste it “html” write page. And then go to “write post” without html and edit according to your preference. This is to reduce any word errors found in your blog posts.

You can give it a try. Try to copy an article from word and paste it on “Write Post” page and view it in “html”, you can see tons of word errors there. Most of it is not dangerous, but it may conflict the appearance in some browsers. So, if you want to copy and paste any word format articles, paste it in your “html” write post page.

    Hi ATNIZ,

I feel Mozilla Firefox will be a better option instead of Microsoft Word. Coz FF has inbuilt spell check and it showz red underline for wrong spellings. Right clicking on it will show you correction optionz.. I hope u r alreay aware of that??

    Thnx,

  5. that’s what i’m doing when i write my posts. i write in Word then copy/paste to html/code. sometimes i just write directly in wordpress’ html/code if i want to post immediately. i tried scribefire but hmm not comfortable with it. still i like the Word and copy/paste to WordPress code combination.

You can also use other text editors with spell check and grammar check features. The more you compose, the better you become. It just takes practice. Blog engines today are already equipped with Web 2.0 features, and most of them have spell check functions.

    Very helpful tip Atniz.

    :)

I was using Google Chrome the other day and when it came across a spelling mistake it underlined it in red, very much like FireFox, but I had to install a dictionary for Firefox, but it still helps a lot.

Great tip. I am not the best when it comes to grammar and spelling. I have also tried Adobe Contribute, but I think MS Word is the best solution.
