As you all know each blog have 300 gold cards to drop and each IP got 600 cards to drop. This is the limit that we all need to follow. I have been receiving more than 300 drops recently. There is no possible way that we can drop more than 300 cards a day. So, how we are going to follow “U Drop I Follow” method anymore?
I have asked Graham Langdon about this two times and the best answer so far I get is to comment on the blogs that I’m unable to drop. Yes. This is his answer. Recently, there is a question and answer session with Graham posted on his blog. Check out this question from Majik and Graham’s answer to it.
Majik asks:
How many different blogs on average do you comment on in one day?
Graham Langdon Answered:
Check my SezWho profile! They’re all right there. (but if you must know right now, I would say between 4 and 10 -SezWho doesn’t pick up all of them)
As I can see most of my commentators also mentioned the same thing that they comment around 5 to 10 comments a day. I think this is normal. The point is, I realized it after about 2 weeks. I’ve been commenting on 100 – 200 posts each day on the sites that I’m unable to drop, because my average inbox drops is 400 – 550 a day.
I got two blogs registered with Entrecard, I’ve been spending about 10 hour a day to complete commenting and dropping for one blog. Another blog, I spend 2 hours only to drop and unable to comment and I feel so bad about it. Do you know how it feels like visiting 1000 sites a day, dropping 600 cards a day, and commenting on 200 posts a day. I felt so tired and felt sick doing it for last 2 weeks.
I can still accept the above answer, but when I saw the QA below
EntreBlast Asks
How does a normal work day go for you?
How do you spend your free time?
Graham Langdon Answered:
A normal work day goes something like this: I wake up, make myself some breakfast, and bike down to the gym where I work out for about an hour, and bike back. I come home and eat breakfast. Eggs, oatmeal, coffee, whatever. Then I begin. I just tear into whatever is on the agenda for the day. It usually involves a lot of emailing, a lot of blogging, a couple phone calls, and a fair bit of research. I go through the customer service to see if there are any issues demanding my attention, go through the forums, make sure everything is going smooth, handle any problems. Then I brainstorm for a bit. At some point in the day I make sure to check in on both Digg and TechCrunch. Around lunch time I’ll crack open a beer and throw some steak or chicken on the grill. My girlfriend gets home around 5, we’ll go walk by the beach, make a pizza, watch a movie, and then pretty much go to bed. Then it starts all over.
After I saw this answer, I just walk away from my computer, brought my mum, baby, husband and go for a beach walk at 2pm. I know it’s sunny; we just walk under the shades and have some drinks and just chit chat about some nonsense things. Went to Indian street and bought some clothes and went to Gurney Plaza to buy some toys for my 9 months baby. Came back home at about 9pm and finish the drops. I slept at 12am. This is the earliest time I slept ever since start Entrecard.
Now, I don’t comment on 200 posts, just reply the comments I received. Comment on the blog that have interesting posts or arguable contents. Lastly, comment on the blogs that have the topics that really interest me. I feel a lot better now.
P.S. If you missed the QA section of Graham Langdon, here is the link.

Rizal,
As long as you are active that is good. You can see my dying blogs that have never post for few months. Blogging sometimes can get addicted and sometimes can create much hatred for us to go to computer. Time management is the most important. 2 to 3 hours a day on blogging is fairly enough. Wish you all the best!
Shearyadi,
Yes. I found your blog post title interesting to me. I love to watch animal planet. It’s been a week+, I never get the chance to.
Eric S,
I found the toolbar is time saving for entrecarders. Wow.. for your work routin, you can still drop 200 cards a day. That is awesome!
Shiela,
Family comes first. Others are next. I’m spending more time with my family now since Entrebar arrived. Dropping life suddenly comes much more easier.
ohhh my..
I admire you, i can never do like you do. I used to drop only 10 -30 cards per day, and suddenly, over the last 3 weeks, i ve been dropping at 150 – 200 per day. I find dropping 150-200 cards a day is time consuming, since i am not using a high speed band. That would consume me almost 3-4 hours a day which i spread to few sections – morning, lunch, after work and at night. But, it still does take some of my life away. I do love blogging, but i guess i miss my “real life” too. So, i ve decided too do just 2-3 hours a day with all the droppings and commenting. Its okay if i cant make my 150 droppings. I am thinking of taking a day off too in a week from blogging so i can really do what i like. It is good to be on top of something, but i guess i just need to balance both worlds.
Happy blogging and have a great weekend ya.
Considering you have drop me some comments on my blog posts, I take it as you think my posts are interesting
And since you don’t do 200 comments a day, you are now have time to watch the Animal Planet again, right?
Wow, I have been trying to drop 100 -200 from each of my blog’s a day. I only have two, but that takes up some serious time. I can’t even imagine commenting on that many also. Thanks god for the new tool bar which helps when trying to find new and interesting sites. I do read most all the current posts on each one. I comment, usually only when I think I have something to add, or when I’ returning the favor. After working from 7:00 to 5:00, then yard and chores that leaves me till about 1:00 – 2:00 AM to hit all my fav’s. Luckily I’m very nocturnal.
BTW Thanks for stopping by mine. Have a great day.
Enjoy life. Don’t make your life suffer because of your addiction. Your family need you
Have a nice day!
Havenlei,
Thank you so much for your compliment. Please come back again.
You are one great blogger! I admire you!
