Have you recently monitored John Chow blog? He mostly writes and post video about his travel in

Have you check his Alexa ranking recently? It is 62k weekly traffic ranking now. When I compare my blog and his blog, it is nearly half of this blog traffic. My blog is just a few weeks old and I’m getting almost half of John Chow’s traffic. Even, Jeffooi’s blog traffic is higher than John Chow.
Personally, I think John Chow seriously need to concentrate on his main goal, that is showing his way of making money online. He is my online idol. He provides great guidance and I will still follow closely on his blog posts. I’m sure he is aware on what is going on to his traffics and will do something about it.

Taylor,
Yeah, I noticed that also. So many bloggers now trying to avoid John Chow site but I don’t know how he can still make his income more than $30k/month. The figure is going up but the visitors to his site going down.
I have checked out John Chow’s site a few times only to bounce right out after being there for only a minute or two. I love his banner and his sites design, but I hate his content. To top it off, it’s hard to read. Hundreds of words in each article with no separation at all. Just annoys me.
That’s why when I blog I have heading tags and bold tags in each post to describe sub categories in that post.
Michael Aulia,
Yeah, I noticed that also. Most of his post now about his travel in China and ad posts. There is nothing much that we can learn from there. Problogger is better than John Chow blog.
John Chow was my short temporary idol to get that “your blog can make money” idea on my head.
After a while, he’s gone
As for Darren, yeah his site is cool and I enjoy reading his posts every now and then
Hey there. I’m new to the blogging world as well, but to be in the same general area as a well known blogger is still quite an accomplishment. My Alexa ranking is in the 1.7 Million range and I can only hope to one day be anywhere near where you are.
Matt Packer,
I’m still new to blogging world. I agree with also on the “guest posts”. This could be one of the reason why his traffic drops tremendously.
John Chow is your online idol, seriously? John has lost the plot over the last 3 months or so and with the number of ‘guest posts’ that he has published on his blog has gotten to the point where it’s really not John Chow blogging anymore..
I’m quite disappointed in John Chow, for real advice from a real person you should try checking out Problogger.net. Darren’s writing style is a lot friendlier and he doesn’t try and force a million different advertising channels, singups, widgets and other assorted junk down your throat.
